🤪 Mayhem in May starts NOW!!! 🥳
In case you missed it, the mayhem begins tonight at midnight EDT and lasts for 24 hours! What does that mean??? For 24 hours, you can promote ANYTHING you want once an hour. Free or paid, on Skool or off Skool, product or service, anything goes! There are just two rules: 1. You can only post once an hour. Yes, we will be monitoring, but please also just follow the rules so that we don't have to do a lot of extra work. 😉 2. For every post you make, you must comment on 3 other posts. GIFs alone do not count, but we do like them along with a thoughtful comment. Wondering why you have to comment? Well, we don't post and 👻 around here, but also, read this post by Des for some more great points! Do you know what you are going to post? Do you have a plan or are you just going to wing it? Do you have a current promotion that you want to highlight? Who has their posts all lined up and ready to copy and paste? Let's have some fun with this! 🤩 Make connection, support each other, get some new members, and maybe find a couple of new groups yourself!

Do you have 2 minutes?
What if it only took 2 minutes to reset, recharge, and find calm? Tomorrow, the CLASSIFIEDS own @Lydia Lowery Busler a professional composer, musician, healer, mentor, and polymath is hosting a quick 30-minute masterclass on how to return to your natural relaxed state in only 2 minutes. This is value that you don't want to miss! Check the calendar for the exact time. Here is what Lydia has to say: In an ideal world, our brains waves flow nicely from an excited state to a focused state, a visionary state to meditative state, and onward to a deep sleep state. Frequently, more than one of those states is happening at once. If things get rough, stressful, or traumatic, the intersections of those waves can become jagged. If we have some sharp edges after a rough day, like getting some bad news, taking a fall on our skis, or getting in an argument, usually we get back on track after some sleep if the system is healthy. We take extra steps to guide our brains back to calm, such as bathing, hot tea, yoga, or meditation, and when that happens, we're often able to fall asleep and hopefully get deep sleep. But what if sleep is broken? If our stress becomes chronic from things like ongoing hostility at work, or a single event such as a house fire that causing injuries, homelessness, and an inability to show up at work, we find ourselves getting less and less quality sleep and becoming more stressed during the day. Yoga and meditation may not work if brain waves are too volatile and misaligned. When we feel anxious and can't recover, we might turn to alcohol or sleeping pills. I'm a mother, a daughter, performer, teacher, community member, and I'm a survivor who's overcome impossible life odds. I came out the other side at peace. Why? In all my degrees and certifications - Applied Art, DMA in Music, Performance Coaching, Meditation Facilitation, Hypnotherapy, Positive Intelligence, Circle Leadership, Policy Governance, Board Leadership, NOLS, I've found one unifying factor that's helped me: FREQUENCY. By the end of this session, you'll have a clear understanding of controlling frequency in your life.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

Slime Time or Shall We Oobleck!?
Years ago, my kids became fascinated with slime after watching Nickelodeon’s Double Dare, where contestants would suddenly get covered in bright green goo. They thought it was the funniest thing imaginable and immediately wanted to figure out how to make their own at home. Kids are naturally drawn to substances that behave strangely because children notice inconsistency long before adults do. Adults tend to like predictable materials. We expect liquids to pour, solids to stay firm, and mixtures to behave the same way every time. So let’s have some fun. You don’t need to have a kid to try this. Imagine what would happen if you brought this to work?

#FriendFriday 🎉
It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks! Please DO NOT promote yourself. 🤨. The entire community is for promoting yourself.
