I came home today and saw that my new PDM samples had arrived. I opened them up and sprayed 2 sprays of each one on test strips to get a very quick first impression of them. I will do a full wearing of each one over the next 3 days and will write up a full review at a later date. My initial favorite is Carios. My second favorite is Valero and then lastly is Eragon. Quick comparison would be Valero reminds me of a niche take on Prada paradigme. Eragon reminds me of a lataffa Khamra or Angel Share boozy type of fragrance. Carios is the one that's harder for me to nail down. I really don't have anything that jumps out at me to compare it to. Maybe the closest would be like a niche take on Versace Eros flame mixed with PDM Haltane in a way. I definitely can say that NONE are worth the $550 retail asking price to me, but will be much more attractive when they get to discounters in the $200-250 range. Have you tried these yet? Overrated 👏👏!! Overrated 👏👏!! Hey good people! Let’s stir the pot a little (in a friendly way, of course). We all have that one scent everyone hypes up but when you tried it…meh. Question: Which fragrance do you think is the most overrated right now, niche or designer, and why?Is it the hype? The performance? The price? The “DNA déjà vu”? Drop the name. Tell us why it didn’t work for you. Bonus points if you share what you’d recommend instead. My picks: 1️⃣ Ex Nihilo – Blue Talisman: There are better options for the price (like Aqua Wood by Mancera). Now, if you try the Extrait, that’s another story! For me it’s just too expensive and it doesn’t perform well. 2️⃣ Louis Vuitton – Météore: Again, too pricey! I’d recommend Azzaro Chrome Azure instead. I had a bottle of Météore but sold it because it lasted no more than 3–4 hours on my skin. 3️⃣ Bleu de Chanel – L’Exclusif: I still believe Le Parfum is the best option from the line. L’Exclusif performs well and smells nice, but… meh, still too pricey! Love to hear your thoughts!
