I'm starting off my Saturday with this beautiful Christmas gift from my wife, and here are my notes: Opens with a touch of sweet citrus, cardemom & saffron. There is a slight chemical smell from the floral absolutes (that apparently I'm sensitive to in different fragrances) that fades in minutes. It quickly becomes, warm spicy, blend of florals, with some amber in the background. Floral notes also provide some sweetness. Ylang and jasmine can be sickly sweet, but they are so smoothly blended here. No woods are listed, but I'm guessing the labdanum, tonka and tolu balsam work to give the florals a soft, woody counterbalance. At 45 min it is medium tone, with moderate sillage & proj. Some Xerjoffs are shape-shifters, and morph from one kind of fragrance the next, but Black Moonlight is relatively linear, in the best way. As it dries down, the notes soften and meld together, maintaining its medium-toned, semi-sweet, smooth, warm, spicy, floral, woody construction from beginning to end. At 90 mins, the fragrance is mild with steady, mild sillage, and will remain this way for hours. At 3 hours, the vapors are steady, stable and mild. I see this as an elegant, elegant/casual, social, date night, special occasion type of fragrance. Sorry guys, NOT a gym scent! 😉😄🏋️‍♀️I would definitely recommend getting a sample, and enjoy! Have a great day and keep smelling fantastic! Update: At 7hrs the last whiffs of light sillage are fading as it becomes an intimate scent. I'll take 6-7 hours of sillage any day! And that's with 2 arm sprays and 2 chest spray. If you like to spray your clothes, it'll never fade lol..

While i sit here and read the biography of Tom Ford, i figured why not wear my new Tom Ford Fragrance. This is a great example of the unique-ness of what Tom Ford is capable of. It starts with a strong incense opening, but in a few minutes softens to a warm spicy but comforting scent. It sort of reminds me of a more wearable version of OP Teroni. Like most Tom Ford’s in my opinion, this is pretty formal and definitely a warm weather scent. This is definitely a great and unique addition to my collection. I say check it out sometime. Stay smelling great my brothers.
