After an amazing weekend in the city with my wife shopping. We went to buy some fragrances (Shocker) 😜. While we may or may not have gone a little overboard which we are prone to do we had an amazing time! All of this to be said, we have been making relationships with some sales people and when we were discussing our collection and what we were about to add. The manager came out and presented us with this Armani/Prive Lacquered display box!! They said these are very hard to get and that they have only had 1 or 2 come in, but they knew we were the right people to have it. They gave it to us for free! Not something I had expected or even knew existed. This is one of those things that keeps me buying from an actual store with an actual person. Even though I may be able to get a "deal" somewhere else. I prefer the relationships. Now I Just have to put my bottles in. I have 2 open spaces to fill. But probably not for long!! 🤣

I've been wanting to join the club for quite a while now, but I didn't want to just jump in the deep end, I wanted to make sure my first purchase was one that I really wanted. I finally found the one and it was just placed on my doorstep. The latest addition to my collection and my first Xerjoff.

I dont post to often here, but I do linger add check out some of the scents you all recommend or suggest. Today though as it was a cooler day (21C/70F) as I got to wear one of my favourites. Montale Intense Café, its like a Parisian florist who secretly runs a hip coffee bar. The floral and rose notes announce themselves with that unmistakable Montale swagger. As it settles, the roses step back and a sultry espresso arrives, leaving a deliciously lingering coffee hug. Then the dry-down, oh my. Vanilla and amber hold hands and declare themselves the afterparty, cozy, warm, and impossible to resist. This fragrance is Sophisticated, Sweet, and Caffeinated — wear at your own risk as it may provoke declarations of "what are you wearing?" and requests for croissants.

I went with Tom Ford Oud Wood. Cold wet day today starting off. I only have the travel size bottle but one day I'll purchase a full bottle. I love it.

A fragrance where the honey actually smells pure. The tobacco is prominent but soft and inviting, not harsh like others. The oud is soft and you find yourself wondering if you're smelling honey, sweet tobacco or oud. Couldn't recommend this one more. Not a strong projector, on me about 90 minutes and didn’t get a response from anyone at PT this time, but lasts six to eight hours on skin and still wearing well on my sweater and that’s after a 15 minute fluff cycle in the dyer to remove dog hair.
