After meeting with Yvans Jacqueline and his description of this fragrance I had to get a bottle. I am out in Las Vegas this week and I was able to pick up this amazing fragrance at Nordstroms in the Fashion Show Las Vegas Mall. This is a Nordstroms Exclusive release. The fragrance opens with a bold rush of spice, lifted by subtle citrus nuances that project beautifully from the skin. At around 15 minutes, the initial intensity begins to soften as a delicate balsamic warmth emerges in the background. By 30 minutes, the peppery spice becomes more refined, transitioning toward an herbal and balsamic character, accented by the warm sweetness of cinnamon. At around 60 minutes, the composition takes a decidedly gourmand turn as vanilla and praline move forward, creating a rich sweetness balanced by lingering touches of spice. The dry down settles into an elegant blend of soft sweetness and musk, resting over subtle earthy woods. The result is smooth, warm, and sophisticated, with just enough depth to balance its gourmand character. Overall, the fragrance evolves beautifully from vibrant spice and citrus into balsamic warmth, cinnamon, creamy vanilla, praline, and soft musk. A polished and well-balanced composition that wears exceptionally well on my skin. This is a fragrance that can be worn in all seasons but would perform better during Fall and Spring. Performance: Projection is good, creating approximately a 2+ foot scent bubble for just over two hours. Sillage is equally solid, leaving a noticeable 3+ foot trail for over two hours. Longevity falls around 7–8 hours, becoming a skin scent shortly after the three-hour mark. My Rating: 9/10

#sotd... Cedar in Acacia by Scents of Wood... This is my first love from the house of Scents Of Wood. Cedar In Acacia is a warm, resinous, and woody fragrance. This has a touch of freshness, spiciness, powderiness, and woodsiness all in one. From start to finish, I am absolutely obsessed with this scent profile. To me, this is a masterpiece that I will always have in my collection. The sad news is that this is being discontinued. I have secured 2 backup bottles for myself. As for performance? This has good projection and great longevity. I have been able to push this to the 10 hour mark before refreshing. This is an easy 10 out of 10 for me. If I had my way, this would be a fragrance that I would keep in production.
