An improvement on the original from the scent line. Magnetic is an intense, ambery reinterpretation of the original DNA, designed to be more seductive and concentrated. Launched in 2022, it was composed by renowned perfumer Delphine Lebeau. A simple yet potent three note structure, focusing on a balance between exotic fruitiness & gourmand warmth. As the signature note of the entire The Scent line, the Maninka fruit here is more concentrated. It provides a sweet, slightly tart, and boozy aroma,like a mix of rum & passion fruit. At the heart you find the magnetic twist. The bran absolute adds an unusual cereal-like, nutty, slightly earthy texture. It tempers the sweetness of the fruit and gives the fragrance a masculine bite. The dry down is dominated by a rich, dark resinous vanilla. Unlike standard sugary vanilla, the husk extract is deeper & woodier, for a long-lasting, creamy finish. The upgraded edp will give you a good 7hrs on skin. It projects quite well for the first 2 hours before settling into a warm, intimate scent bubble that is very effective for close encounters. #sotd... Qaa'ed Intense by Lattafa... As for me and my nose and experience with Qaa'ed Intense, I get a very similar scent to Dior Homme Intense... The powdery lipstick vibe that is usually associated with the Iris note. I am not saying this is a clone or inspired by DHI, but it will remind you of it even though this does not have Iris listed as a note. I think it is amazing how to can combine certain notes that can come across smelling like something totally different. The beauty of the fragrance world! I got good overall performance from this. I went 7 hours before refreshing. Okay projection for the first couple of hours before it started to settle down. I am going to give this a 8 out of 10.
