Being an Irish brand, I was really hoping this would be good. Although they have been around a while, it's relatively new for me. Having recently learned from @Lon Chaneyfield about how many of these dupe houses operate. The fact that they have no perfumer listed, suggests they are buying in fragrance oils from one of the big suppliers, they they blend with alcohol and bottle. Whilst their is a hint of Fahrenheit here, it's seriously weakened, by either a low grade oil, or the concentration has been watered down, or perhaps even both? Whilst they only list three notes. Sicilian Mandarin, Leather Accord and Bourban Vanilla. I'm thinking they are aiming for the parfum version. There is a touch of violet in the mix but it's all rather faint.This is a stripped-back take on the Fahrenheit DNA, but it lacks. After showering, I added a base layer of yesterday's Friday Night Leather, which helped boost the overall effect. Honestly, this was a massive disappointment. €12 for a 50 ml ain't a huge loss, but It's one I won't make again. Without layering you get a watered down cologne strength juice. Will last an hour at best then it's gone. I'd rather save and get the real deal with this one, it is budget friendly, but the trade off just ain't worth it in my opinion Rating: 1/10 Scent: ,5/5 Longevity: .5/5 Sillage: 0/5 Would I rebuy? 0/5

Match #43 in the second-chance bracket features Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum versus the now-discontinued Dunhill Icon—and this one is a fairly easy decision. Bleu de Chanel EDP (2014, created by Jacques Polge) remains one of the most versatile fragrances out there and, for me, one of the most sophisticated takes on the fresh blue fragrance. Grapefruit, ginger, incense, cedar, and sandalwood give it freshness without sacrificing depth. Office, casual, evening, almost any season—it simply works. Dunhill Icon (2015, created by Carlos Benaïm) also starts in fresh territory, with bergamot, neroli, black pepper, and lavender over vetiver and woods. I enjoy the aromatic citrus opening, but there's a slightly synthetic quality to it on my skin that keeps it from competing with the smoothness of the Chanel. No real drama today. Bleu de Chanel is the more polished, balanced, and versatile fragrance, and it advances comfortably. Dunhill Icon is eliminated from the tournament. And Chanel continues to have an impressive run: two fragrances remain in the main bracket, with three more still fighting their way through the second-chance bracket.
