As an edt, I reckoned I could spray away with this one. This classic, is the granddad of the aromatic aquatic genre. This og composition is a masterclass in balance, opening with a vibrant, zesty splash of Calabrian bergamot, neroli & green tangerine, which give a sense of citrusy energy. As the initial brightness settles, the heart reveals its signature marine accord, masterfully blended with floral notes like jasmine & freesia, alongside spicy hints of rosemary & nutmeg. This salty sea water effect is the fragrance’s core identity. Finally, the scent dries down into a subtle, masculine base of cedarwood, patchouli, white musk, & oakmoss, which grounds the airy aquatic notes with a warm, earthy finish. Today this was my SOTD, actually I asked ChatGPT which fragrance in my collection I should use today, based on what I was going to do today. Glad I wore this one today because my Mother in law gifted to me on my birthday & I’ve only wore it once. Good choice for daytime use, casual, gym, and office space too.
