I was about to make this a SOTD post, butt changed my mind as this question popped into my head. I know we all have and are still building collections. We all start out and are in different places in this journey. But I noticed how my FBW criteria has changed since I started and was curious about the other brothers. When I first started, I would hear about a scent, if I smelled it and liked it in the store it was an immediate bottle purchase not wear testing, not sample grabbing just straight to the bottle. Over time I have become a bit more discerning, now don't get me wrong I have still bought a couple of bottles by falling victim to the shopping excitement, but I have been lucky enough to still be happy with those. Now I am at the point that I will wear my samples a few times before I make a decision to add it to the FBW list. Because of the relationships at the stores I have made I have a crazy amount of samples to go through and I am doing that lately and just doing my samples that were either given to me by the salespeople or by my family at Christmas. and making some decisions. I'm wearing BTV - Hasu today. Now I know that Boadicea is a polarizing house. You either love it or hate it and most of the hate I have read online comes from pricing. I had worn this one a few months back and thought hmmm 🤔. this is nice, I'll have to revisit it. I chose it for today and both of my harshest critics gave me compliments. My wife and my book keeper both of whom never hold back (even when I think they should 😜). So this one will be added to the FB conversion list. I tried categorizing this post so you can skip what you’re not interested in. MAIL CALL!! I bought the 3 new xerjoff straight from their website it’s 25$ for a sample set each 2ml but for the shipping to the states was 17$. The discovery set was a great way to scratch that massive itch!! I tested them all before I looked at the notes to take away any bias opinions. XERJOFF BLUE BOTTLE AVANGUARDIA: firstly I’d compare this to mind games French defense but a more masculine version. Great cherry scent that I thought had leather but apparently not, it’s fresh, soft, fruity. XERJOFF ORANGE BOTTLE FIEREZZA: I can’t figure out what this reminds me of. It’s more of a mixed fragrance from the different families, it smells spicy but also aquatic that’s fresh but also woody leather if that makes sense. XERJOFF GREEN BOTTLE PERSEVERANZA: THIS reminds me of LV LOVERS but a fresher version that’s nicer but to my nose they both smell like woody pickles which just doesn’t fit me well. My favorite is the BLUE then ORANGE and lastly the GREEN (these names are too hard to pronounce lol) FINAL VERDICT: I wouldn’t pay 400$ for these especially since they’re gonna hit the discounters hopefully soon but the avanguardia I like. At the end of the day it’s all hype that got to me with this Lamborghini collab.

I’m a long-time fan of the Joop! Homme line, so going into Jump I had certain expectations — and right off the bat, this isn’t trying to copy the original. It stands completely on its own. As it settles, heliotrope brings a soft, powdery-sweet undertone while coriander keeps things fresh and slightly herbal. It never gets heavy or cloying — the transition from top to heart is smooth and uncomplicated. At its core, this is a youthful, no-fuss scent. The base warms gently with tonka bean, soft musk, and earthy vetiver, giving it enough staying power without turning thick or heavy. For me, it works perfectly for the gym, casual days, or warmer weather — it’s reliable, inoffensive, and does exactly what it’s meant to do, no extra frills required.
