Its been a good past couple days, trying out my samples and here is the next one. This opens like an easy and safe blue aquatic, little salty, citrus and amber. It smells familiar, but can't my finger on it. Going into the mid, it gets a bit fruitier with mango , sage and ginger to keep it a bit bright. Dry down I will report back as I just popped this on about 45 min ago. Dry down, turned out to be a nice fresh and woody, with a hint of vanilla and fruit. This is a nice frag and definitely worth sampling. I wasn't moved enough to consider a full bottle at $160

I fell for the hype, I did, I ain’t scared. Now, I did so based on Cals collaboration with Rayhaan on Tiger which I absolutely love. I figured it had to be at least that good. Well, its good but I also haven’t had the ability to compare it to the OG, YSL 6, so not sure “how” good. It opens up with the required bergamot. Also you will get cardamom and a pepper smell that fades in and out. I find the bergamot and cardamom when I put my nose closer and the pepper as I move further away. A leather comes in and ambery notes and eventually to a very nice sandalwood. The transition move slowly and it does have longevity. I haven’t noticed any crazy projection it just kind of is, there. For the price its good and I think hype works both ways. The fragrance is getting bashed all over websites so much so that it is being labeled as “controversial”. I don’t know how “controversial” it is but its not gonna change the fragrance world or anything. It kind of seems like a sequel to a movie, its good but the first one(Tiger) was better.
