I hope you enjoy participating in this quick answer seris ment to help get to know each other a little bit better. 1. What is the longest-lasting fragrance in your collection? 2. Skin or Clothes? (Where do you spray for the best results?) 3. What fragrance makes you feel the most confident? 4. The "Coziest" scent you own for a rainy day? 5. How many sprays do you consider "Normal"?

I should have said 6-7
My Venice pick up
So I had the chance to visit the Merchant of Venice boutique while in Venice. After smelling the lineup, I decided on Venetian Blue. While at the shop, I chose this one because it seemed very likable, like most blue fragrances, but it had a nice maturity. Full review coming soon.

What a beautiful store. I wish I’d had time to visit it back when I was in Venice in October

@Carlos Palafox I love their bottle designs. They are works of art on their own. Sometimes I wish perfume companies would let you buy the empty bottles, but I understand why they don’t. Some of these would be lovely to have just on the shelf

lol. I’ve gotten good at discerning multiple scents, but it is a good idea to only test a few and give yourself a break
Shipment Insurance
Is adding a fee for shipping insurance a new thing with Fragrance discounters? It seems to me the insurance for safe delivery should be their responsibility, not the consumer's. I'm reasonably sure a delivery that arrives broken, most credit card companies would charge that back to the vendor. Am I misunderstanding how this works?

Insurance is the one thing you buy that you never want to use, but when you need it you’re glad to have it. I think the biggest thing is for porch pirating which has grown rampant. The carrier is not responsible for that kind of loss, so the usual $100 carrier insurance doesn’t apply. If you live in a neighborhood where that’s a problem, or if you are shipping a high dollar order, then it’s wise to pay a couple of bucks for it. But if you are shipping something less valuable to a protected locker or something then it might not be as valuable. I’ve had to use it twice - once the carrier put the box under the corner of my roof and it rained and washed away the box and my bottle disappeared leaving a soggy torn up box behind. Insurance covered that when the carrier would not. The second time I had a bottle arrive broken and they replaced it the same day.

Thank you to @Nestor Lopez for sending this last year. I had it set on the shelf for colder weather and a good situation to wear it in, and today felt right. I may never stop wearing it. This is one of the most beautiful chypre fragrances I've ever tried. The notes don't list leather, but I get a lovely, slightly smoky leather accord with it. The oak moss and ambroxan combine to make for a very masculine, sophisticated, professional scent that I am absolutely in love with. This is definitely going on my wish list, but at $175 for a bottle, even at discounters, it might be a bit out of reach for a while.

@Nestor Lopez Agreed. This is going on my wish list for sure. It's like Ganymede's older, cooler brother. I really like it.
