Chuck Norris
For anyone who hasn't yet seen the news, Chuck Norris passed away today. I met him once back in 2012. He was a genuinely nice man and loved his fans and had a great sense of humor. A friend of mine opened a coffee shop called Kick Butt Cafe and he decorated it with tons of images of Chuck and had posters and photos of him everywhere. Chuck was kind enough to sign an autograph and mention the place to his fans, and it made my friend's entire year. So in honor of the man, the myth, the legend, I'd love for anyone who was a fan to 1). Post what you cologne you think he would have worn (I don't know if he did or not, but I'm guessing that his natural body scent was it's own perfume) 2). Post your favorite Chuck Norris joke. He was known to tell a few of his own and enjoyed hearing good ones, so I don't think it would be disrespectful, and it's a way to honor him and the joy he brought to millions of fans over a lifetime.

Anyone eyeing those National Frag Day Sales?
If anyone got some information about some good sales going on due to the National fragrance day, please drop your comments! What vendors usually participate in these sales? This is my first Frag day since I started collecting, so just curious!

Yeah I’m not seeing anything really special for discounts. FragranceNet is offering 35% off but that’s their usual MO. the Dua is 33% off which is pretty typical. Jomashop pricing actually seems to have gone up despite the advertised discount. MaxAroma seems to be the usual discounts on a handful of sponsored houses. Macys is offering 15% on select beauty and fragrance brands. Bath and Bodyworks has Buy 2 Get 2 which makes the price about what their usual price is when they go on sale. Sephora has 20% off in a few things but nothing noteworthy. Honestly I don’t think there’s anything that’s made me excited
Dol You Smell?
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen: As many of you know; my grandson who is 14 years old, came to me and tells me that that he wanted to be like me and dress like me, wear cologne like me. His reasoning is that he sees how people notice and respect me wherever we go. (Yes, I'm having a proud moment), The one thing that I did, was to teach him the way I was raised; if you can smell yourself then others can smell you, now this can be in a good way or a bad way. Either way the point was personal hygiene is crucial to oneself. My grandfather raised us men in the family that you always wear some type of cologne; at the time the cheap thing was Brute 33 and Old Spice. Now, I am not going to spend hundreds of dollars on cologne for a 14-year-old boy unless he is on stage with his four brothers (the Jacksons Five, the older generation). But I wanted to teach him the same values I was raised with, so I buy the generic versions that I found of name brand colognes so he can learn and also build confidence in himself. I had to attend a parent teacher conference at his school, and I had never been in the school before nor have I met any of his teachers or the office staff, ( let me paint picture; I'm black and he is white) ( paint, lol sorry, I digress) but when I walked in everyone knew who I was and who my grandson was. In speaking to his teachers, all of them had one thing in common, they all complimented on how nice my grandson smelled every day and how they loved that he wore different fragrances all the time. Some teachers actually said, they have him sit next to them because he smells great all the time, (little creepy but I get it), some say they have him by the door, because unfortunately some kids do not have proper hygiene and the tend to bring that odor in the classroom with them so when other teachers and adults walk in they smell my grandson first, (again creepy but I get it). I personally get compliments all the time on my colognes and yes, even some made the comments" I am so glad you are here because someone has bad body odor." I have been to conferences where people have asked me to sit at their table because they had someone there that did not have a favorable odor on them.

Excellent advice. And great interaction. I’ve been teaching my nephews about cologne as well. It’s become a trend in my younger nephews school. They talk about men’s colognes the way my generation talked about X-men and Gi Joe. These interactions build relationships and teach the next generation. It’s so important. Keep doing what you do
Legend+ by ath
Today’s ATH is Legend+. A fresh mass appealing frag that’s great for all seasons. I feel it can shine anywhere except brutal cold. Although it’s not like I work outdoors so honestly 4 season frag for me. Today is a beautiful 65 deg and sunny here. Perfect for this one. As with all the ATH I have, the quality of this is what pulls me in. Work safe and enjoyable. Longevity is good at about 6-7 hours. Projection isn’t offensive and not blowing doors off while still filling a smaller office setting. This is an odd one for me though in that it’s outside my usual jam. What pulls me into it is the high quality that Aaron produces.

Sounds great. One of the very few issues I have with ATH is that they tend to be room fillers. So having one that’s more medium in its projection instead sounds fantastic
BDC EDP vs Club de Nuit Iconic ?
Chanel Bleu de Chanel EDP vs Club de Nuit Iconic for Men EDP ? Is Nuit close enough, enough performance to buy instead of BDC ? My area Macy's is running a 15 % discount for a day or so longer while the Nuit is considerably less.

@Que Dub great response. I have Iconic as well but rarely wear it. I just found that I’m not a huge fan of the DNA. And I agree. It’s lighter than the original but that’s one of its advantages I think.

"At least it's not drugs," I say to myself as I buy 37 fragrances with no shelf space and a tight budget. "At least it's not drugs..."
