Initiation of the Greenification
It begins… my first order of wheatgrass juice arrived! I was surprised it tasted kind of like a lawn mower. I’m guessing my gut still needs to adapt to it and grow the microbiome that eats it before I start to crave it and find it as sweet as Shane described. I do feel more energy after drinking it! Which Tallow/Lard/Suet is Healthiest?
I’ve been trying to find a good suet to pair with my butter and olive oil for a variety of healthy fats to cook with. Do you have any advice if any of these look okay? Is there a better one you recommend? How should we go about checking them to figure it out ourselves for things like this? Sunday Brunch Went Hard
I actually loved this breakfast and very nourishing. 1 local duck egg sprinkled with an organic mesquite-style BBQ spice 2 pasture-raised chicken breakfast sausages A bed of cilantro dressed with olive oil, balsamic (one of the best heavy metal detoxifying herbs) Half a slice of organic sourdough pizza (I ate the previous half yesterday) On my quintessential cutting board. Anyone eat anything delicious and nourishing this weekend?

The Best Broccoli
A few years ago, I accidentally discovered that broccoli can be a delicious breakfast. I’m calling it Cayenne Buttered Broccoli. It’s super simple. - Add generous serving of butter - contains healthy fats and is the best source of butyrate - Put your portion of broccoli in a convection toaster oven to roast it. The way this roasts the broccoli gives it a consistency that practically melts in your mouth! - Add salt to taste - a needed mineral - Add black pepper to taste - increases bioavailability of many nutrients - Add cayenne pepper to taste - increases gut microbiome health and kills off bad bacteria

Brown lentil stew or Vegan mince and tatties? You choose :)
It was Italian Brown Lentil stew night last night at The Milson household. Recipe and pics coming. Shane took the pics. I made it in it's simplest form. You can add what you like to it. I sometimes add parsley and other veggies. I wanted to show that it can be real simple and fast. Italian brown lentils, Red onion, carrots, potatoes, Olive oil, paprika, pepper, Tamari and water Any ratio will work and taste good. And if there's any Scottish vegans or vegetarians, it's the ultimate Mince and Tatties without meat.
