Hair-Maxxing 101: Stop Hair Thinning, Nourish Your Scalp and Unlock Hair Shine
I'm working on a new program right now for hair-maxxing, basically it will cover the causes and cures for receding hairlines, hair loss, grey hair and hair thinning. The focus is compiling a master list of foods, herbs, products and rituals for nourishing the scalp and mineral requirements for creating optimal hair growth, beauty, luster and shine. Any feedback on what you'd like to see spoken about in this hair-maxxing program would be appreciated! Helps me to make something world class to help people use natural methods to heal and improve their hair (a major part of people's self-esteem and self-image). PS> I am working on a similar infographic for a dozen different health topics. I think they are pretty fun to outlay the landscape.

@Shane Milson https://nurtur.ca/products/rosemary-hair-oil I bought this. There’s this elevator in my building with bright lights revealing my balding head 😂. I was looking at those red light hats, but not fully sold on spending that much on a hat that might work. Do you have a protocol for red light on head / would one of these hats be overkill or worth it? Thoughts? Hair Oil Ingredients: *Olea europaea (Olive) fruit oil, *Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) leaf powder, *Urtica dioica (Nettle) leaf powder, *Argania spinosa kernel (Argan) oil, *Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil, *Cucurbita pepo (Pumpkin) seed oil, *Nigella sativa (Nigella) seed oil, *Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, *Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) leaf oil, *Eucalyptus Polybractea (Eucalyptus) leaf oil
Sunday Brunch Went Hard
I actually loved this breakfast and very nourishing. 1 local duck egg sprinkled with an organic mesquite-style BBQ spice 2 pasture-raised chicken breakfast sausages A bed of cilantro dressed with olive oil, balsamic (one of the best heavy metal detoxifying herbs) Half a slice of organic sourdough pizza (I ate the previous half yesterday) On my quintessential cutting board. Anyone eat anything delicious and nourishing this weekend?

I’m on my Asian Arc ⛩️ 🍚 🍳
Been really loving the simplicity of rice bowls lately. The key is it has to be “whole-grain” (colorful and not stripped white which is letting the nutrient profile go to waste) and ideally heirloom varieties (wild rice, forbidden black rice, red rice, etc). Cooked in less than 40 mins while I worked on some other things. I add grass fed butter @Brendan M (our favorite), spring water, saffron (a potent medicinal herb for as well as spice to improve mood and treat symptoms of depression), carrot, celery, sumac, a dash of Worchester sauce and thai yellow curry paste. Added a DUCK EGG 🪺 on top for making this the full deal. Lord oh lord, have mercy, this meal was delicious.

"Psychotically Good" Vegan White Sauce Scallop Pasta 🍝
This pasta you would never ever guess is made without heavy cream. Tastes extra rich and creamy. The pasta are organic whole wheat spelt. The secret? It's sautéing the wild caught scallops with garlic first in olive oil and simmering down the coconut milk (yes I know, shocking) with a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and an immense amount of black pepper (non-irradiated). You can add a thicker like arrowroot powder or my personal favorite "Paleo-style" chestnut flour. At the end you add dill and freshly squeezed lemon to lift the flavors. Alakazam 🪄 - the best vegan white sauce pasta you could ask the heavens for. This dinner takes less then 15 minutes. It changes lives. Share your favorite pastas Avalonians, I want to see what you're all cooking up.

Question about Canadian Dairy
I’ve been eating this Kefir with blueberries pretty often (almost daily) the past 2 years. This is the best I can find from a grocery store. I’ve found kefir at farmers markets in Toronto that are pasteurized at lower temperatures, but very expensive ($20/jar vs. $7/jar). @Shane Milson in your gut healer program you say to avoid all conventional dairy. Would you avoid eating this everyday if it’s pasteurized even if it checks all the other boxes?

@Shane Milson thanks for this! That makes a lot of sense. I generally feel pretty good after I eat this and well satiated it also just tastes really good too especially with the blueberries and some honey. And now that you mention it honestly probably the least of my problems when it comes to my overall gut health. Looking back I kind of over the past couple years got back into the white flowers and sugars and I think those are probably reeked most of the havoc (RE candida). Working on cleaning that all up now!
