Still Here
I’m still here. I’ve been miserably sick all week and I’m having some brain pressure/spinal fluid pressure issues as a complication from that; kinda routine for me to have intracranial pressure issues, but really no fun at all… So, I have to rest and go easy for now. But down time gives me time to map out more goals and plans… I tried to spend some time learning, but my brain just isn’t handling the intake of new information right now 🤯🫠. Here’s hoping for better days and swift healing to come soon!

Bravo! 💪🏻
Handstands and shoulderstands
Training was gym: Bench, deadlift squat etc. But ended with Handstand practice and making sure I can still do this shoulderstand transition.

Any other bendy bodies?
Hi all! I've been curious about calisthenics for a while and recently stumbled across this community. I'm hypermobile and have only recently realised how this is a problem that I should address. I don't need to learn the crazy calisthenics stuff but I'd love to have a body that I can trust in and continue to play with, for a long time to come. I'd love to hear how this program is going for other newbies and if other bendy people are having success here!

Welcome Tia! I’m 42 and have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome-and oh SO many of the hypermobility issues that go with it. I’m on my second week in this community and already I have learned SO much about mobility, strength and flexibility… and remembering that movement can be (and should be) FUN! I work weekly with my PT and Mobility team, and they were so thrilled when I told them my goals of working in more Calisthenics into my treatment plan and my daily life. They said it would be greatly beneficial for the hypermobility issues to build the strength and control for better mobility… with the hope for me to build/renew trust in my body’s ability to move without constant injury or pain. I’m on week 2 of being here and week 1 of actually doing the work on implementing the plan 😆👏🏻, so I’m VERY new here too! This community is just an incredible find! Welcome! And I’m looking forward to seeing your journey.
