Intro & Goals
Hello from Toronto, Canada! I ran the Tokyo Marathon last month and haven't done much since then. With a fractured toe and strained hamstring, I'm hoping I'll be able to build muscle and strength to prevent future injuries. Especially as I approach turning 50. Goals: Drink 8 cups of water daily, train for 10km run, train for 92km bike ride, build 3% muscle/lean mass and walk 10,000 steps daily. - Start food logging, run/bike, focus on strength training 3 times a week. - 8 weeks...then re-strategize as summer approaches. - "I am worthy and I will achieve my goals as long as it takes".

Tracking Workouts
How are some of you tracking your workouts? Are you using a specific app? I’m currently using smart gym but some of the workouts I do are not in the app! So far it’s good but wondering what you all are using .. would love to check out other options. Please and thank you ā˜ŗļø

šŸ”„ Tuesday Check-In | 600 Workouts?! Let’s gooo!! šŸ”„
Today surprised me in the BEST way… 600 workouts completed 🤯Didn’t even realize I hit this milestone — that’s pretty amazing. I’ve been a little MIA the past few weeks. Had family visiting from Mexico + a family trip to Florida celebrating my mom’s 70th and my daughter’s first visit ā¤ļøSafe to say… BOTH had the best time. Now let’s talk about the struggle getting there… šŸ˜…We flew out of LAX (not my favorite, but direct flight = worth it).My mom’s luggage handle broke on the way there… and then ANOTHER handle broke on the way back šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø THANK GOODNESS for BBB strength because I ended up carrying:āœ”ļø Her luggageāœ”ļø My luggageāœ”ļø AND my ONE gallon Yeti šŸ’Ŗ My partner really said:šŸ‘‰ ā€œYou can farmer carry your Yeti.ā€ Me:šŸ‘‰ ā€œIt is ON like Donkey Kong. And don’t ask me for water.ā€ šŸ˜‚(And nope… he was NOT joking) šŸ’” Real moment that stood out… My mom crushed the trip — over 10K steps every single day, no complaints šŸ™Œ(I had her training on the walking pad before we left — paid off BIG time) BUT… she struggled with upper body strength, even pushing a carry-on. That was my moment to remind her:šŸ‘‰ THIS is why we strength train. And guess what…She joined me for workouts in Florida šŸ’ŖLearned form, got excited, and wants to keep going at home. That right there = WIN 🄹 šŸ˜‚ Funniest moment… Before riding Tron, my daughter tells my mom:šŸ‘‰ ā€œGrandma… don’t smile too much, your dentures might fly out.ā€ Tell me WHY my mom went full POKER FACE in the ride photo šŸ’€šŸ¤£ Also…She handled Tron AND Everest better than me… I came off nauseous and she was just chillin šŸ˜‚ Overall:āœ”ļø 600 workouts milestoneāœ”ļø Family memories unlockedāœ”ļø Strength showed up in real lifeāœ”ļø Mom officially inspired to lift We’re not big sweets people, so no dessert tour for us… but we DID have fun creating popcorn at the Confectionary šŸæ Big reminder:The work you’re putting in now?It shows up when LIFE happens — travel, family, chaos… all of it. That’s the real win šŸ’Æ

Program 1~Changes
I chose program 1, because i honestly want to be consistent with the workouts and with the changes in my life in starting end of next week with moving from one country to another, even if it is moving back home, resettling back in your home, routines, changing habits, new job environment, new responsibilities after 2 years its a little challenge on its own and with this program I know realistically that i will be able to maintain it through all of these changes, until things have settled and iv gotten my rhythm back again.šŸ¤“

I’m excited to learn new skills and continue leveling up my strength training. Even though I’ve worked with a personal trainer before and have experience in the Inner Circle with the BBB program, I know there’s always another level to unlock.
