Little changes, real progress
After changing to a daily walking routine, I’ve started to really enjoy walking after work — quiet time, moving my body, and staying with myself. That consistency is carrying over into my training. When I train now, I’ve started noticing small muscles forming around my stomach. Nothing extreme — just subtle changes that make me feel proud. It reminds me that showing up daily, even in simple ways, really does build something over time ✨

Progress🖤
Winning the personalized roadmap from @Darren Liu was so exciting and helpful and prompted me to take an updated photo. I never in a million years would have imagined putting myself out there like this but I was feeling really proud of myself and inspired to share my progress. The first picture is from May 2025 and the second is January 2026. This is from following Darren on IG and taking his advice. It isn't just about the physical changes, the mental health and self esteem benefits are life changing.🖤💪🏼

Day 4: Consistency in Motion
Today I added 2k more steps than my average and took a walk after dinner. Getting back on track 💪 I really enjoy walking at night — it helps me burn calories, relax my mind, and slow down. Such a good ending to the day 🌙

Noticing the little things
Today I’m starting with awareness — simply noticing what’s changing, without forcing anything. Lately, I’ve been feeling small but meaningful shifts: - My body feels more firm - I feel more confident, and my clothes don’t feel tight anymore - I adjusted my routine to walk after meals, and it feels good for both digestion and my mind - I’m genuinely happy that my weight is staying consistent — no big swings, just stability One thing I’m also becoming more aware of is sleep. Even when it’s not perfect, I’m learning to notice how timing, late activity, and stress affect my recovery — not to judge it, but to understand my body better. Small awareness → better decisions → sustainable progress ✨

So true. I’m really starting to see how everything else flows better when sleep is prioritized. Learning to protect it more intentionally now. Thank you @Darren Liu
January Recap 🌱
I went to the gym and did a body composition comparison from Jan 6 → Jan 29, and honestly the results surprised me in the best way. In just a few weeks: - Muscle mass: +0.4 kg - Body fat: −0.8 kg→ from ~30.3% down to ~29.0% (about −1.3% body fat) What I’ve been doing is actually very simple: - Strength training 2x/week - Daily walking (nothing extreme, just consistent movement) My personal trainer even asked me, “What did you do? Your body composition changed really well.” So I shared Darren’s IG and this community with her — she loved the approach and wants to recommend it to her other students as well. This really reinforced something for me: Consistency + sustainable habits > doing more, harder, or extreme. Really grateful for the guidance from @Darren Liu and this community 🤍 and a big thank you to my brother-in-law @Joe Wu for inviting me to join this community.
