Sunday Shift
Keeping it simple! Trying something new, instead of focusing on yoga as I used to, I want to focus now on walking. Good: 10,000 steps a day (in average) Best: 12,000 steps a day Best: 15,000 steps a day Trying to create systems that don't trigger a sense of perfection (and failure) to avoid creating rigidity and resistance. Walking for me is a pleasure so I hope it will work better (while also keeping the yoga a few times a week, without pressure). Also installed a cute app that simulates the Frodo's path from the Shire to Mount Doom, it makes me smile (big Lord of the ring fan here). Happy New Year everyone! I wish us all a year of health and self-discovery 💛
How we Saturday'in today work? play?
Mostly family play for me today. Swim lessons, library play. But I’ve scored a little work time while the littles sleep/rest and I’m so excited about what I’m working on that it genuinely feels like play. Cute moment: my 3yo (like… just turned 3) told me his favourite song is Beautiful Things 🥹 and then he was actually singing some of the words. My heart. Not exactly toddler music haha, but so sweet. Also… I’m a super duper beginner, but I made my first gluten-free sourdough focaccia last weekend and it was AMAZING. I’m feeding Carl Jr. tonight (yes, we named our starter 😂) and making my second batch tomorrow. Anyone here baking sourdough? And just to say it out loud because this one drives me bonkers: no, not 100% of people with PCOS need to be gluten-free. This popular social media recommendation gets thrown around way too casually.... So much context and concerns I want to share. Video up and comin' on it. But if you felt you needed to go GF only because you have PCOS please wait to explore that until my video drops. Ironically, I’m the one with PCOS and can tolerate gluten just fine but the celiac genes were strong on my husband’s side. So for simplicity and lowereing stress of contamination at home, I mostly eat GF there too well except for my wasa cracker which are awesome with hummus, (https://www.wasa.com/global/products/original/) easy to contain the crumbs, high fiber about 2g per slice and the kids don't want it anyways 🤣). 💜 Mel What you up to?

Lab Clarity Mini Series Ep2 Diagnosis Labs vs Monitoring Labs
In this episode, we zoomed out and talked about why PCOS labs can feel so confusing especially when diagnosis labs and monitoring labs get mixed together. Reminder about the bonus 🎁 If you leave a short comment under each video in this mini series (there are 5): - Skool automatically gives you points - When you reach Level 2, you’ll unlock the PCOS Lab Tracker - No extra steps needed it unlocks automatically No deadlines. No pressure. Just small moments of showing up. When you’re ready, move on to Episode 3 [Comin' next week] 💛 There’s no expectation to “do” anything perfectly here. This is about clarity, not completion. Choose one option — whatever feels easiest: ✋ Raise your hand if this helped you see why not everyone with PCOS needs the same labs OR 💬 Share one word that captures how labs have felt for you before (confusing, overwhelming, validating, unclear, etc.) OR 🎬 Drop an emoji or GIF that fits the vibe One sentence, emoji, or GIF is plenty. Please don’t share personal medical details this is a public space. Quick check-in (comment right here 👇)

Very clear and useful video! I've received a diagnosis by a gynecologist that was kind enough to look into my case even though she's not my doctor. But she didn't follow up with monitoring labs (she prescribed the pill), which I understand if she's busy and feels that it's not her place. Since in Quebec it's difficult to find a doctor that can follow your case, I'm trying to find the courage to ask her if she could help me by prescribing some monitoring labs to me, end of February. I'm unsure about how to ask her since it wasn't her first instinct... I got the courage to ask by having the tools provided here so I'm really grateful 💛
🌞 Saturday Check-In
Good morning, community 💛 Just popping in to say hi and to check in on your Saturday vibes. What’s the energy like for you today? @Solenne Séguin how many more essays to write? @Anya Grace Krasnov Trip updates please @Narissa Daisy What sparkle has time off been like? This morning, I want to invite you to show us your colors. Being part of this community means showing up as your whole self, quirks and all, and letting those little sparks of joy ripple outward. So today’s theme is: pets, plants, and the ones we love. If you’ve got a furry (or feathery or scaly) little love in your life, post a pic! And if you’re a proud plant parent, show us your leafy companions. Over the past few months, a few of you have shared how this space feels different. That means so much to me. A big part of that comes from what I’ve learned in another community, one that’s helped shape the way I hold space online. This weekend, I’m spending time with my dear mentor Evelyn (the OG community queen of authenticity and showing up), soaking in all the wisdom about building genuine connection because in a world of AI and constant noise, one thing we can’t automate is real human connection. That’s why this space matters. Why you matter. I’m so grateful you’re here. I feel like the best is still ahead of us, and you’re part of laying the early foundation for something beautiful. We’re co-creating this together, and that gives me heart vibes. For now, let’s fill the feed with pet pics, plant babies, and love in all its cuddly forms. Below: The closest thing to a pet we can handle at this stage of life, with young kids. But trust me the request for pets is loud and clear. My daughter is the best negotiator. I want a rabbit, a cat, a dog and a hamster ... Which one should we start with 🤣 Happy Saturday Mélanie 💛

Sunday Shift during end of semester 🧠
Domain: 🏃‍♀️ Move (yoga + walking) Last week I've reached the ''good'' goal in exercice and ''better'' goal in walking GOOD / BETTER / BEST VERSION GOOD: 90 min. exercice + 40,000 steps total BETTER: 120 min. exercice + 50,000 steps total BEST: 150 min. exercice + 60,000 steps total 💡 WIN / LESSONS LEARNED Last week, I've got a bit thrown out my routine by being emotionally drained by a family situation, and by a day off that was not meant to be off (#life). I wonder if my system is fragile or if it's just a bad week. Knowing I'm getting a new yoga mat delivered this week ((😇)) made me also a bit less motivated to use my old mat, which gives me skin problems on my hands. So I think accessories can also be a factor of (de)motivation. This week, I have a lot of school work to do, so I'm excited to see if my system will support me and, if so, how it will feel - physically, mentally, emotionally - to have an active end of semester (I tend to completely stop in those circumstances). Also - Thank you @Mélanie DesChâtelets for the gift card, that allowed me to get a new yoga mat!! I bought it from the brand Scoria. It’s a canadian brand that makes eco-friendly cork yoga mats that are natural and non-toxic. They also support indigenous youth programs with part of their profits. Really cool! Can't wait to try it. I'll post a picture this week :) Cheers!
