Speeding up recovery techniques
Hi there all, hope there's someone who might help me with my "problem". I've had a comminuted fracture of both fibula and tibia (left leg) like 1cm above ankle in March this year and even though I was able to cut recovery steps to a half (I should still walk with crutches, but I am already biking/swimming/rowing for 2,5 months), my leg mobility (in the ankle) is still on +/- 85% and I have a feeling that recovery speed somehow slowed down in last month or so... Right now it is only about range of motion and bit of swelling (not much - I am aware that the circumstance of my left leg ankle will be bigger due to the implants - it is minor swelling at the forefoot in the evenings, regardless physical activity). What I did (right after the surgery, but stopped already): - high dosage of liposomal D3+K2 (10.000I.U. + 300mcg) - Polyoxidonium - Russian drug developed for astronauts to stimulate grow of bone marrow - pure badger's oil topically - mixture of DMSO/Aloe Vera/castor oil topically - ozone therapy (limb bag) What I do: - liposomal D3+K2 (5.000I.U. + 150mcg) - MSM + liposomal C (normal dosage) - since the surgery - photobiomodulation - red laser light + fermented curcumin - since the surgery - 5K rowing - every day, started 2 months ago - walking - targeting 10K steps as a min, same like before injury - biking - +/- 200K weekly - mechanical stimulation - with Naboso Neuroball halves - daily Anything that I am missing? Anything to correct? BTW, when trying to extend the range of motion above current max. I do not feel any pain, rather tension... Thanks for the hints!

@Rafael Zarza I do (for me and my family - via Zinzino test - that I find quite expensive, nevertheless accurate. Any other cheaper tests?

Red light devices
Hi! Would you have any tips where to buy a good, small red light&NIR device (preferebly from Finland or EU)? The small devices are sold out in the Hololife center shop, and I am not sure which other supplier to use for a good quality equipment. I have been in knee surgery just few days ago, so I would like to use the light on my knee and hopefully speed up recovery. And then afterwards build up daily habits on red light use to help to boost energy levels through the dark winter period.

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but I am extremely happy with this device: https://www.nuovotherapy.cz/produkt/laserovy-pristroj-nuovo-spektrum/ (you can switch in upper left corner to Finnish language). It incorporates "650 nm punainen laser, 450 nm sininen LED, 589 nm keltainen LED ja 560 nm vihreä LED" and besides use on a wrist it comes with ears applicator, nostrils applicator and "healing pad". I use it every day for 30 minutes along with fermented curcumin (with nostrils applicator on). Based on a work of ISLA Research Group, 447 nm blue light (not exactly on the "watch"/nostrils applicator wave length, but close to) can excite curcumin like 3-times. I just sip 2dl of curcumin, wait for 30 mins (in order to let curcumin get through GI system) and then proceed with 30 mins of Nuovo Spektrum therapy. Did not try any other combo mentioned in the attached PDF though, but 450 nm + curcumin works - did try it simultaneously on 3 clients of mine (1st curcumin only, 2nd Nuovo Spektrum only, 3rd combo) and checked inflammatory markers (his-CRP, LEU, ASP, ALT, GGT, ferritin, LDH, RDW) before and after 7 days of trial. 3rd client was (percentually - I know it is not perfect...) 57% better than averaged baseline (averaged 1st and 2nd client). Will try hypericin + yellow 589 nm light on a client with confirmed borrelia/babesia as soon as I get standardised hypericin extract from producer.

High quality coffee / Fatcoffee
I am very curious of this topic being quite fanatic of coffee and therefore roasting my own beans to ensure I get fresh and quality coffee 😊 But to the question.. I was finishing yesterday the webinar recording for Blood sugar and keto (Finnish version) and there were discussion about fat coffee and their recipes. Part of that was mentioned that coffee should be from high altitude and certain type of coffee, if I understood correctly. My question goes are there some research on this and specifically using coffee from certain region to get benefits? Or was it finding from your experiments and taste preferences? Thanks for the another great webinar! I can only recommend 😊

I would rather focus on finding mild nut-color-like roasted (often named Manhattan roasting) arabica organic whole beans coffee. 1) gentle roasting = more curvy taste profile (usually for cappucchino use), unlike flat taste of highly-roasted coffee beans for expresso 2) gentle roasting = coffee oils (kafestols) that stay integrated within beans (and come out on the surface when highly roasted) supposedly raise sLDL cholesterol 3) organic = importers of organic ingredients are supposed to run analysis on each batch they import - I have over 10 yrs of experience in this segment procurement so I know it is not always the case - ideally, ask your importer to deliver analysis on regular basis; we usually go Bellarom organic coffee (Lidl brand) as I have an ex-colleague working there in procurement dept. that sends me analysis for every batch sold in Czech Republic that contains levels of aflatoxins as well (see bellow) - did check lidl.fi site and could not find it though... 4) whole beans = coffee beans, along with cocoa beans, peanuts or for example tiger nuts, are highly hydrophilic so when exposed to the humidity from the air, they are prone to get moldy; this mold is hard to be seen or to be smelled and it produces a lot of aflatoxins (categorised as neuro-toxins) - so I would only go for whole beans in reasonable packaging (we do have high consumption in our family so we go for 1kg), when opened we store unused beans in vacuum container and freshly grind appropriate amount each morning Hint: I prefer dripper (with unbleached paper filter) to french press as paper filter can catch big part of above mentioned kafestols mentioned above
Drinking/fluid regime?
Hey there, I would be keen to know what your drinking regime (in terms of kinds of beverages) is. Mine: 2-3 cups of enhanced bulletproof coffee (7AM), 1ltr of ozonated water (from 8AM), 1ltr of hydrogen water (around noon), 1 cup of ashitaba tea, 1ltr of jiaogulan/Ivan tea/honeybush/rooibos (one of them - I try to rotate them). I would like to explore your choices 😉

@Olli Sovijärvi nice! A lot of minerals/electrolytes! I do add few drops of Phyto Essentials from Rocky Mountain to the hydrogen water. And yes, I do my own sparkling water (via Sodastream machine). I forgot - all water comes through 7-stage reverse osmosis (last stage is a re-mineralization cartridge). That snore & Peace tea - is it the one from Clipper?
