Art
Hololifers! My mother is really into art and painting and she’s been wanting to sell her art for a while but hasn’t gotten herself to do it, so I thought I’d surprise her by putting her paintings on sale. I was just wondering if you guys know what’s the simplest and easiest way I can put them on auction? You guys have any experience on this? šŸ˜ŠšŸ™Œ

This is a bit off-topic, but here goes: For the absolute simplest and easiest online auction experience, eBay or any other auction site is probably your best bet. It's a platform everyone knows and trusts. You can set a starting bid (even a low one like €1 to get things going), define the auction length (e.g., 7 days), and its huge user base means you get more eyes on the art than almost anywhere else. The step-by-step listing process is very straightforward for a beginner. A second, very easy option, especially if she has a bit of a social media following (or you do!), is to run an auction directly on Instagram or a Facebook post. You would post a high-quality photo of the painting, and in the caption, you'd write the details (title, size, materials), the starting bid, and the exact end date and time (e.g., "Bidding closes Sunday"). People then place their bids in the comments. It’s very low-tech, has no fees, and can feel more personal. Websites like Saatchi Art and Artfinder cater to reselling professionals. Setting up a website is of course an option, but unlikely to get traffic without an existing audience.
New masterclass: Bone Health
The Foundations of Bone Health Optimization curriculum is now available in the Hololife Masterclass Vault. Strong bones are the silent foundation of lifelong mobility, strength, and vitality, yet true skeletal health goes far beyond simply taking calcium and vitamin D. The lecture covers the science of building a resilient framework, exploring everything from the crucial role of lesser-known minerals like magnesium, boron, and Vitamin K2, to understanding your skeleton as an active endocrine organ that influences your entire metabolism. It provides a holistic strategy to prevent fractures, combat age-related bone loss, and build a truly robust internal structure. The webinar recording is a complete blueprint for your skeletal health. Inside the vault, you will find in-depth modules covering the most effective nutritional strategies, targeted exercises that stimulate bone growth, the critical influence of hormonal balance, and the key biomarkers you should track. Whether you are in your 30s looking to build peak bone mass or are focused on preventing osteopenia and osteoporosis later in life, this curriculum provides the actionable knowledge you need.

@Evan Lukow great idea, we take breathwork in future bi-weekly challenges
HOLOLIFE Acedemy: Habit formation & Ice Bath/Cold Shower Challenge
Last weekly mastermind call has been uploaded to Classroom section (see Hololife Academy Challenges). You find the full video on habit formation and first challenge, cold shower/ice bath - There is a full written summary on the page as well to save you time. Please watch it and consider joining the challenge - You are as good as your last set! Let's do this together. We will be logging together this and try to do at least 2 weeks on a consistent basis to form a new beneficial habit. Instructions: 1. Download the free Holohabits app 2. Go to Holochallenges section 3. Click "+" – add ice bath and/or cold shower challenge 4. Set the comfortable amount per week 5. Every day mark the challenge done and take optionally a photo of yourself doing the activity and others will cheer you up 6. Do this for 2 weeks, optionally continue longer Developing new habits takes effort: at least 2 weeks to do something new consistently. The key to success lies not in willpower alone but in using specific strategies to make the transition easier. Several core principles, supported by behavioral science, can significantly increase the chances of successfully adopting a new habit. - Start Small and Simple: Break down a complex goal into incredibly easy tasks. For instance, instead of starting with a 5-minute ice bath, begin with just dunking your face in cold water. Setting the bar so low that you can't fail creates a positive feedback loop and a dopamine reward. - Inject into Existing Routines: Attach the new habit to something you already do automatically. For example, do ten squats while your morning coffee is brewing. This "habit stacking" reduces the friction of starting something new. - Consistency Over Intensity: Frequent, small actions are more powerful for building neural pathways than infrequent, intense efforts. This is why consistency is crucial for creating an automatic behavior. - Track and Reflect: The act of measuring a behavior (like sleep, diet, or exercise) directs your attention to it, making you more mindful. This "quantified self" approach is a form of mindfulness practice. Journaling about your progress and feelings is also a powerful tool for reflection. - Leverage Social Support: Humans are social creatures who thrive on community and accountability. Working with others, whether in a group like CrossFit or with a personal trainer, creates positive peer pressure and a support system that keeps you accountable.

Hyberbaric - Breathing excercises
Seems hyperbaric oxigen Chambers induce physiological effects similar to Wim Hof Method Breathing (low levels oxygen (20-40% oxygen), up to 100% saturațion oxygen...actually James Nestor talks about a (desensitazion of chemoreceptors) doing WHM breathing (carbon dioxide tolerance). We know pH levels in blood (dificult to measure tissue) goes up to 7.8pH...always were Ć®nterested to test both to see which one more efective:) Of Course Lead Stress Professor, Elissa Epel, and author of Telemere effect: was super kene to research the WHM, based on het research into oxidative Stress, telemeres + gene expression. I found one sentence especially noteworthy: the the greater the adrenaline spike (hormetic effect) the greater the anti-inflammatory effect. Of Course we know WHM Breathing reduces TNFa 53% and Inflammatory markers 33-50% And many more Numbers Etc. Loved this talk, made me more curious to know if we can compare the natural and tech modality 😊 i think the results would be surprising. Did the hyperbaric (not highest level) ans it was good, but cant compare to a good Breathing seasion (in terms of brain clarity, light, focus).
