Sold my rack.
Not because racks aren’t great, they are. But this season called for less friction and more consistency. I’m minimizing my training for the time-being: - Free weights - Open space - Efficiency My PowerBlocks go up to 100, I’ve got kettlebells, and that covers everything I need to stay strong right now. This is a good reminder that the best gym setup isn’t the biggest or most impressive, it’s the one you’ll actually use. Curious to hear from you 👇 If you had to train with no rack for the next 6 months, what would your setup look like?

Good Sunday over here 👊
Woke up early and got some heavy dumbbell work in. Nothing crazy, 4 movements, a few accessory lifts, just focused on turning the intensity up for a couple sets. Rest of the day was exactly what it should be: Big breakfast. Indoor soccer. Fresh quesadillas. Then about 3 hours straight of football, basketball, and baseball in the front yard with the kids. Hope everyone’s enjoying the weekend and finding ways to stay active, even if it doesn’t look “perfect.” Alright… burger time 🍔🔥

Seize the day.
Gotta be honest, I’ve been consuming more than creating lately. It’s comfortable. And comfort feels good. But nothing meaningful gets built there. Today’s a reminder to apply pressure again, on the work, on the habits, on myself. Progress doesn’t come from motivation. It comes from showing up when it would be easier not to. So here’s the question: What are you doing today to get a little stronger or better? Lift something. Move your body. Build something. Learn one thing. Keep working. Keep building. ☘️ Build the gym. Strength for families.

New split
I have had a difficult time committing to consistent workouts with my graduate school schedule. Trying to fit in longer workouts even twice a week has been difficult. However, I just started a low volume “bro split” (I say it in quotes cause I do a second leg day which is abnormal). I can be in and out of my home gym in 20 minutes and throw a couple exercises at one body part basically every day. I’ve got 11 workouts in the last two weeks and I feel great! If anyone is curious, I attached my plans
