I did a thing!
Ok, I did a lot of things that led up to this big thing. This week, I reached a weight that I never imagined I'd see again. The last time I was in the 130s I was 21 years old at my wedding almost 15 years and three kids ago. When I started this journey in July (and all the times I unsuccessfully tried losing weight before that), I never even really aimed to get back to this point. And when I think about the fact that I am in considerably better shape now than I was then (I was thin but not strong), I can't really believe I'm here. I honestly thought after turning 30, having my third kid, and finding my first gray hair it would be all down hill from there😆 but here I am living my best life at 36 and feeling pretty darn good about myself. Also, I killed my step count today so that feels pretty cool too😊 Thank you @Darren Liu and all of you so much for all the love and support you put out there. It means more than words can say🖤

@Lp Sar whenever you think prices are high, just think of Hawaii. We are the highest cost of living in all the US. ☹️ And the highest taxes!! I think our blueberries are about 7.99 a container. Oh well….. like I say. The price of paradise. 🤦‍♀️
Game Plan
Hi Everyone, While I’ve been out with a cold all week, I took the time to watch the material from the 5 Day Sprint. I took notes, bought a scale, downloaded my fitness pal, took measurements, and formulated a plan. My Goals: ✨lose 24lbs ✨decrease body fat to 20% ✨decrease waist measurement ⚓️ goal: 120g protein/day Timeline: 21 weeks Baseline: I lift 3-4x/week and try to engage in movement based hobbies, like climbing. I’m feeling most overwhelmed by tracking calories and building the habits around meal prepping/planning and taking all the measurements. I’m hoping the support from a personal health coach and this community will help provide motivation when I need it. I’m looking forward to this journey and lifestyle change. 💪🏼 I am worthy and I will achieve my goals as long as it takes

☔️ Rainy Day Step Challenge ➡️ PR Plot Twist 👟💪
It’s raining here and looks like it’ll be 🌧️ all the way through Thursday. Not gonna lie… it’s so cold I had ZERO motivation 🥶 On top of that, my partner had food poisoning and it legit sounded like an exorcism 😵‍💫 I’ve never experienced that before — just witnessing it made me feel like I was about to pass out. BUT… steps still gotta happen 😂 So we improvised: 🏠 Walking pad 🏋🏻‍♀️ Treadmill at the gym ☕️ Pacing while warming up 👉 And then… after the rain stopped, I drove to the gym and turned the whole day around. 💥 NEW PR: Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown 📈 Max volume increased by +53.42% 🏅 Max volume EVER That’s what happens when you show up even when you don’t feel like it. Rainy day. Low motivation. Chaos at home. Still executed. Messy steps still count. Low energy days can still produce big wins. Who else turned a struggle day into a PR day? 🔥👟💙
