Portion control FACTS
Assess your portion control Do you feel stuffed 20 mins after eating? Are you used to that full feeling and that’s the normal? Be honest….i used to eat til i felt I needed to lay down! It’s something i had to learn not to do - and this is actually really helpful particularly when we eat out. We feel we got to get out moneys worth!….

We are all too busy - too busy looking after everyone else doing things that just are autopilot duties - we don’t realise that we actually need to take a little bit time for ourselves. It’s something we all struggle to do, me included but today I am going to challenge you to take 20 minutes for yourself. Do something that is just for you - not for someone else - only you! As an effort to reduce collateral damage with any gained weight this euro trip….. I weighed this morning. I was delighted to see I only put 3lb on. Making positive food choices when possible, taking the stairs over lifts/escalators and walking when hanging around the airports, dancing in the car for 4 hrs during carpool karaoke has definitely paid off. I stayed consistent even when I had no other options. I was particularly proud of Thursdays results as I travelled 6 hrs on the plane, 1.5 on the metro and multiple hrs in the car and still smashed over 14k steps 💪

@Sue Sperrin well done! Now after a flight weight usually goes up. I bet you didn’t put that much on and 3lb is nothing in holiday - I used to put in 7-10 🙈
