🔥 Special Offer from Marcelo - The Niche Fragrance Collector
Gents, just heard from Marcelo and wanted to pass this along right away. He's giving everyone a 10% OFF a full bottle from Olfactive Traveller (https://www.olfactivetraveller.com) — limited time only. Here's how to grab it: 👉 DM him on their Instagram page (@olfactivetraveller) and he'll send you a unique code. A couple quick notes: - The only thing excluded is the OT Traveller — everything else is on the table. - And if tariffs were on your mind, no worries — Marcelo handles that on his end, so the extra cost comes out to around $30. Super straightforward. It was a great call, and this is a solid bonus. Hope you grab it! 👊

The most expensive mistake in watch collecting isn't the watch
You've seen it happen — maybe you've lived it. A piece that looked right on paper, felt wrong on the wrist, and lost value the moment you tried to move it. A "deal" from a seller whose reputation you couldn't verify. A reference you passed on because you didn't know enough yet, and regretted six months later. None of that is a spending problem. It's an information problem. And information in this hobby isn't hard to find — it's hard to trust. YouTube has opinions. Forums have arguments. Hype pages have agendas. None of it tells you what to do with your specific budget, taste, and collection goals. That's the gap Watch Lover Premium closes. You get direct access to serious collectors and experts who've made the mistakes so you don't have to. Live calls where you can bring a real purchase decision and leave with a real answer. Trusted vendor relationships built over years, not hours of research. A community where the baseline level of knowledge is genuinely high. The collection you're trying to build in two years, alone — some of these men built it in twelve months, together. The room you're in determines the speed you move at. What’s your signature watch?
Talking with a couple of friends the other day about watches we wear the most and what we’d consider to be our “signature” watch. For me it would have to be the Mido, it’s my default grab when I don’t know what to wear it always feels right. Do you have a signature watch? If so, what is it?

May's Watch of the Month — Erebus Ascent 39mm Automatic Dial
I became so involved in a writing session yesterday that I forgot to come back and share my Watch of the Month for May. But was there ever any doubt? It had to be my new Erebus Ascent 39mm Automatic with the gorgeous Blue MOP Dial. An unsolicited, surprise gift from dear friends, this amazing watch will always carry a special meaning and memories.

Which Would You Choose?
While in no rush to buy straight away, I’ve been eyeing up my next watch purchase. I’ve narrowed the choice to two, pictured below. I’m still open on the colour palates. And both options have esoteric merits beyond the visual. The Riley is a local-to-me brand, which I value, and the Xeric is the good side of strident and quirky. Which would you choose? (Both is an option, if you don’t consider them conceptually similar. Neither is also an option, if you dislike them.)
