Best Way to Deal With a Tinnitus Spike (Step-by-Step)
Hi there, When a tinnitus spike hits, or when the sound suddenly grabs your attention, it’s very easy to get pulled into it. This is a simple 3-step sequence you can follow in that exact moment to calm your system and regain control. One small tip before you use it: When you get to Step 2, don’t just go through it in your head. Actually say what you notice, touch, smell etc. out loud. For example: “I see a chair… I see a screen…” “I touch the desk… I touch my phone…” That active engagement is what helps pull your attention away from the tinnitus. I use this myself, and I use it with my clients when tinnitus spikes or when it pulls their focus away from life. 👉 Just follow the steps in order 👉 Don’t overthink it, just go through the sequence It’s simple, but it can put you in a much better place within minutes. Please feel free to share with anyone you know that may benefit from this simple "protocol" as well. 👍 I’d love your feedback: - Did it help you in a real moment? - Which step worked best for you? - Anything unclear or missing? Yours truly, Guy.
“MyNoise” App
For me, struggling with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis, this app is “usefull”. After trying many apps for instant relief, the “brown noise” from this app is most calming. Hopefully a usefull tool for TRT/Masking. The app is fully free. Just discovered it. 🙏

Beter slapen
Reprogram your behavior
The brain does not distinguish between reality and mental experience - it reprograms connections in response to the vibration of your attention. (@instapost)

🔊 Tools to Help You Manage Tinnitus & Get Lasting Relief
Hey everyone 👋 I just uploaded a new short video introducing two tools that are now available on my website to help you manage tinnitus and track your progress. 1️⃣ Tinnitus Tracker – lets you log your tinnitus level, stress level, and relaxation activities each day. You’ll start to see patterns over time and notice what truly helps. 2️⃣ Notch Therapy Tool – helps you create personalized sound therapy by matching your tinnitus frequencies and filtering them out of relaxing sounds or music. These tools are free to use, of course, and I built them to make it easier for you to take an active role in your relief process. 👉 Watch the video below to see how each one works, then give them a try and let me know what you think. If you have any feedback or ideas for improvements, please share them in the comments. I’d love to hear your experience. Hope you find these helpful and that they make your relief journey smoother. 🙏 Guy.
