I believe that when the noise subsides, this is a consequence of adaptation.

I would like to know some more practical skills. Not only how to hide the tinnitus at night with the cricket sounds. Not only how to breathe (box breathing) before going to bed. However, some techniques may also be suitable for use during the day. To change the focus from ringing to hissing sounds.

Yes, I know that. And this is what I was asking. About the therapy tools. I have read about them, but what type of them really works?
Reminder - I'm traveling between Dec 21-29
....therefore my response time will be slower and probably less posts. 😊 Happy holidays, everyone!!

🎙️ Free Live Q&A + Two Big Announcements This Weekend!
Hey everyone 👋 This weekend, I’m hosting a free live Q&A session here in the community — open to everyone! If you’ve ever wanted to ask me questions directly about tinnitus relief, what really works, or how to adapt different techniques to your specific situation, this is your chance. 🗓️ When: Sunday, November 16 ⏰ Time: 9:30 a.m. Mountain (11:30 a.m. Eastern / 4:30 p.m. London / 5:30 p.m. Central Europe) 💬 Where: Check the Calendar tab, click the event, and save it to your calendar — the Zoom link will be inside the event details. 💸 Cost: 100% free 🌟 What We’ll Do - Open Q&A — you can ask anything about tinnitus, sound therapy, relaxation, true habituation or anything else that supports your own lasting relief journey. - Real examples of what helps people move forward (and what usually keeps them stuck). - And two exciting announcements that some of you have been asking about. 🗣️ Announcement #1 – Small Group Coaching (New!) Over the past few months, several members told me they’d love a way to get the same support and structure as 1-on-1 coaching, but in a small group setting. So starting this month, I’ll be opening a small group coaching option — same 12-week roadmap, shared learning, smaller group size, and of course a much lower price than private coaching. It’s a great fit for anyone who prefers to learn together, ask questions live, and build momentum as a group. I'll cover important details during the call. 🎁 Announcement #2 – Holiday Discount To make things even better, anyone who joins in November — before or during Black Friday weekend — will get a major discount that applies to the entire 12-week program, not just the first month. This discount will be available for both 1-on-1 and small group coaching, and it’s the best rate I’ve ever offered. Whether you’re struggling right now, making progress but want more clarity, or just curious about what actually works, this session will give you practical answers and inspiration to move forward.

🧩 Tinnitus Riddle #3 – The Chain Reaction [ANSWERED]
A person develops mild tinnitus. At first, it changes slightly whenever they move their jaw or turn their neck. After a stressful week, it suddenly feels louder, even though nothing happened to their ears. A few days later, during deep relaxation, the tinnitus sound softens again. Question: Which parts of the body or brain do you think are involved in these changes — and why? 🤔 Hint: This one is about cause-and-effect inside the body. Write your reasoning below. 👇

@Karen Dowell When you stopped your antidepressants, the tinnitus came to the same noise range level or is it now louder?
