Andromeda and the myth
So much has been said about Andromeda and what it does, and I found this article really refreshing. I also liked this comment underneath—it might explain why some ads no longer work (mine, thankfully, still do). The Truth About Meta Andromeda and Ad Retrieval - Jon Loomer Digital The comment: The way we've seen it manifest is this - since the ad retrieval process changed, we need to change some attributes of the ad to make sure it gets retrieved. Previously, your ad just had to win the auction. (I know there was a retrieval before, but that's the bit that changed) Now, it needs to pass an AI "pre selection" to even get into the auction. So the AI needs to be able to understand very clearly what your ad is about and who it should serve it to. If it doesn't, then it won't even get into the auction, becasue it thinks other ads are better suited to the person.
