Not quite sure how to screenshot this so I went to the Advanced Preview and took a screenshot there. This is what today's ad looks like in the FB feed (and it's got two likes already, woot!)

@Jill Cooper good point, didn't think of that! I do at least like where it cut off. Here's the rest: I drain my glass as I try to figure out how to tell Jen I’ve just condemned her to death at the hands of a mermaid. “When you think of Io—Erie—whatever . . . what do you imagine?” Jen peers at me like I’ve gone crazy. “I imagine a mermaid with magenta hair.” “Ariel or velociraptor?” The look doesn’t leave her face. “What kind of question is that?” “A very important one. Do you think of her as a predator or a pet?” “I don’t know. I think of her as Io. Depressed, won’t eat, Iodine.” “Depressed,” I echo, and when the next round arrives, I take a big swig. “Predators don’t get depressed.” “What’s this about?” Jen covers my hand with hers. “What’s wrong?” Her eyes are such a deep shade of brown. I’ve never seen a redhead with eyes like hers. Maybe she dyes her hair? I don’t know—I’m doing whatever I can to not think about how much trouble we’re in. “There was this trainer at Oceanica, right at the beginning. Her name was Hannah Michaels. She had eyes like yours.” Jen sits back, suddenly cold. “Let me guess, you slept with her.” “What? No. I was seventeen. She was, like, thirty, or something. She’d been a trainer at Orca World. Years of training under her belt.” I sip my beer and stare at the grain of the table wood as I recall Hannah’s easy smile. Her fearless nature. The kind-hearted teasing because I was young and awkward and boss’s pet. “She claimed her Mer was tame—that she’d made friends with it. Her Mer was more like a pet than a predator.” I take a deep drink as Jen runs her fingertip through a wet circle on the table. “Hannah’s ‘pet’ killed her during a show. Jumped right onto the platform and pulled her under. Ripped her face off. She thought they were friends.” Jen’s silent, her gaze lost in her beer for a full thirty seconds. I finish my drink. “You can’t think of Erie as a friend, or a pet. As soon as you do, you’re dead. She’s a predator. A velociraptor. A killer.”
Scaling on Friday/Weekend?
I know it's a bad idea to start an ad on a Friday afternoon (after 12pm EST) or on the weekend. Does that same rule apply for scaling ads? As long as today follows the trend of this week, I'll have five days of profitable reads, and I want to scale the ad by a few dollars (currently it's $5, I'm thinking $8 since that's what I keep making back), but didn't know if that was smart to do over a weekend or if I should wait until Monday morning to scale.

@Jill Cooper Thank you! I was getting reads, but not enough to cover the cost, so it felt weird to turn them off, but I am definitely losing money.

@Jill Cooper yeah, I've noticed a bunch of hinky stuff going on there as well. So maybe a bunch of reads will be tacked on later as they fix that, but I have a new artwork to use in the ads, and I do think the Threads placement messed some stuff up, so I'm going to start fresh either way. Now I know to keep an eye on placements if I scale the ad! (it was my first time trying)

Can't wait! I need to learn more about scaling, because my ads have finally been working to the point where I'm dipping my toe in for the first time to scaling.
Facebook Dynamic Creatives vs Single Creative
With all of the recent changes to Facebook Ads, has anyone had better results with Dynamic Creatives or Single Creatives?

Mine have been about even lately, although I was getting more comments and likes on my single creatives (but still sales through dynamic according to attribution data)
CTA Destination Warning?
I'm working on a new ad set for direct sales today, but I keep getting "CTA_DESTINATION_WARNING" below the Call To Action section. Anyone know what that means? It doesn't seem to be doing anything to stop me from making the ad, but the little information hover thingy isn't working.

Once again FB ad manager fixed itself and this disappeared. I'll wait a couple days in the future before freaking out >.<

@Jill Cooper glad I'm not the only one. I stepped away from the ad for a while and it seemed to disappear on it's own, so that was a relief. Maybe next time I'll try starting over and see if that works. Thank you!
