As well, if anyone has any questions, or would like any methods or help with their meditation/mindfulness/spirituality/qigong practice or tips on how to start one - then please reach out :) 4. New Article out - first part below - to read the full article go to: Classroom/Standard/Articles: Article: Meditation is for Everyone: There is a myth that meditation is for monks, mystics, yogis, or middle class mums in yoga classes. But meditation is not about being spiritual. It’s not about believing anything. It’s not about escaping the world and chanting ancient syllables on Moon days. Meditation is about being with yourself— and learning to live with your mind in a healthier way. If you have a brain, nervous system, job, relationships, stress, emotions, or responsibilities…then meditation is for you. The Universal Human Problem: Across every wisdom tradition in history—Buddhist, Daoist, Yogic, Zen, Sufi, Christian mysticism, Stoicism—the conclusion is always the same: A chaotic mind creates a chaotic life. A clear mind creates a clear life. When I stayed with a remote Maasai tribe — still living in an ancient, ancestral way with no electricity, no running water, and no Western influence — I asked one of the Elders (through a translator) whether they experienced psychological burdens like anxiety, depression, or constant overthinking.

We've got a Coffee Morning, VIP Qigong, Meditation today for those wanting to attend - as usual let me know who is attending for links to be uploaded. Many thanks :) Do You Need to Control the Breath to Find Stillness? A Daoist, physiological, and practical perspective. Modern wellness culture often treats breathwork as the gateway to inner calm. From box breathing to Wim Hof to Soma and countless variations, the message is simple: control the breath → calm the mind → reach inner peace. And for many people beginning their inner journey, this is true. Conscious breathing is a powerful tool. But every time I used to ask my Daoist & Neigong teachers about breathwork they always brushed it off saying: “Stop trying to do breathwork. When the mind settles, the breath settles. Not the other way around.” So which is it? Is breathwork essential? Or is it a detour before “real meditation”? The answer is both more nuanced and more empowering. This article bridges these two worlds—Western breathwork and Eastern meditation—so practitioners know when to use breath, when to let it go, and how to integrate both for deeper transformation.

The One Truth
Morning All, New Article has landed discussing the various traditions and religions that point to Non-duality. To see the full version please go to the "Classroom" on the app and in the "Standard Area" you'll find the full article, this email is also a reminder of the Coffee morning and Q&A today....... For thousands of years, humans have asked the same question: Who am I? Beyond culture, language, and ideology, many spiritual traditions converge on a strikingly similar answer: Our deepest identity is one with an ultimate reality—whether you call it God, Brahman, Dao, Buddha-nature, the Absolute, or pure Consciousness. This recognition is often the heart of what is known as non-duality, meaning ‘there are not two’ — not self and God, subject and object, creator and creation. There is one Being appearing as many. How Many Traditions Point to Non-Duality? A surprising number. While not all religions are explicitly non-dual, many contain non-dual strands—sometimes hidden beneath cultural interpretation or mythic narrative. Major non-dual traditions include: • Hinduism • Buddhism (especially Mahāyāna & Dzogchen) • Daoism • Sufism • Christian Mysticism • Kabbalah • Sikhism • Indigenous and shamanic traditions Even traditions that appear dualistic on the surface often have an inner mystical core that reveals the same unity. Below is a summary of some of the traditions & religions and what is at the heart of their teachings........... (to read the rest of the article go to the classroom/standard/articles....) There is a Q&A and onboarding session today (Saturday 24.1.26) at 10:30am for anyone who is free & interested – grab a coffee, log in and say hi. Have a great weekend!
