Beyond culture, language, and ideology, many spiritual traditions converge on a strikingly similar answer: Our deepest identity is one with an ultimate reality—whether you call it God, Brahman, Dao, Buddha-nature, the Absolute, or pure Consciousness. This recognition is often the heart of what is known as non-duality, meaning ‘there are not two’ — not self and God, subject and object, creator and creation. There is one Being appearing as many. How Many Traditions Point to Non-Duality? A surprising number. Major non-dual traditions include: • Hinduism • Buddhism (especially Mahāyāna & Dzogchen) • Daoism • Sufism • Christian Mysticism • Kabbalah • Sikhism • Indigenous and shamanic traditions Even traditions that appear dualistic on the surface often have an inner mystical core that reveals the same unity.
