News & Updates: 28.1.26
Hey Everyone,
Hope you are well. Just a few updates to share:
1. February Meditation Gong: I’ll be organising a Meditation Gong challenge for the month of February.Your mission — should you choose to accept it — is to meditate every day for the entire month (minimum of 10 minutes at a time). It’s a powerful way to build consistency, strengthen discipline, and get your mind and body used to daily stillness. If you’d like to join in, simply reply to this message and I’ll share the full details.
2. Premium Members – Lesson 3 Now Live, called The Illusion of Me, is now available. We’ll also be hosting a private discussion group and Q&A tomorrow afternoon, so feel free to message me if you’d like to join to explore the ideas more deeply.
3. New Article Released. The latest article, 'The Complete Guide to Meditation Sitting Postures', has just been uploaded. You'll find it in: Classroom → Standard → Articles. I’ll include the first few paragraphs below to whet the appetite for anyone interested in refining their meditation practice.
4. Upcoming Online Qigong Presentations. In February I’ll be hosting a couple of online presentations on the History and Philosophy of Qigong. I’ll release the dates soon. If this interests you, feel free to reach out — those who have attended day or weekend Qigong retreats with me will recognise this material.
5. Coffee Morning & Q&A – This Sunday - Open to everyone: we’ll be having a relaxed online Coffee Morning and Q&A this Sunday at 11:30am. Feel free to log on, chat about meditation and spirituality, ask questions, meet others in the community, and connect.
6. Lastly, thank you for being here and participating. If you have any questions, ideas, or anything you’d like to see inside the community, please let me know. And remember message in advance if would like to attend the meditation slots - and i'll upload the links :)
The Complete Guide to Meditation Sitting Postures:
Cross-Legged, Zazen, Chair Sitting, Standing & More
Meditation traditions across the world use different postures — cross-legged, kneeling, standing, or sitting in a chair. None is universally “correct.” Each posture has its own history, biomechanics, energetic implications, and pros and cons.
This guide provides a clear, tradition-spanning overview to help practitioners choose the posture that best fits their body, purpose, and lineage.
