New Month, New Wins! What's Your Goal?
Happy New Month everyone, Wishing you all a month full of progress, opportunities, and lots of wins. I'm curious what's the one goal you're focused on achieving this month? Drop it below I'd love to see what everyone is working toward and cheer each other on. Let's make this month count.
AI is coming for every premium subscription and honestly I'm here for it
Saw a video this week where a guy replaced Chess.com Premium ($14/mo) AND a $500/hr chess coach by building his own AI coach with Claude Code in about 2 hours. It reviews his games like a grandmaster, learned his weaknesses on its own, and now drills him on them daily. The part that got me is the same architecture works for basically any subscription you pay for: language learning, fitness programming, trading journals, study tools. Describe what you want, let the AI build it, own it forever for free. Made me look at my own subscriptions list very differently. Here's the video if you want to see how it's done: https://youtu.be/6Yd4qxJePqU He also runs a free community called KVK Automates AI where he shares the full template for this build.

If You're Learning to Build With AI, Watch This
Not my video, but I just watched this guy build a full AI chess coach with Claude Code and it was genuinely one of the best 'what you can actually build' videos I've seen in a while. It connects to your real games, reviews them like a grandmaster the second you finish, and drills you on your weak spots. All built in a few hours, no dev team. He uploads a lot of really solid AI build content, and he's got a free community called KVK Automates AI where he breaks this stuff down step by step. I've been getting a lot out of it honestly. Dropping the video in case it helps someone: https://youtu.be/6Yd4qxJePqU

Fable 5 just dropped and it's kind of nuts
anyone else been messing with Fable 5 since it came out? it's the new flagship model and it's a real jump for agentic stuff, it'll build whole systems from a single prompt now. honestly this is where AI 'employees' stop being a buzzword. the model does enough of the heavy lifting that one person can build what used to take a team. what's everyone building with it? (bit of a side note but this breaks down how people are actually charging for AI builds now that the tech got this good: https://youtu.be/eQFCtVuvzSY

someone finally explained why AI people undercharge so hard
been undercharging for my AI builds for ages and this kind of broke my brain. the point that stuck: agencies charge $50k for the same thing most of us do for $2k. same tech, they just position it as an 'AI employee' instead of a 'workflow'. the 3 tiers he breaks down (starter $5-10k, standard $15-30k, enterprise $50k+) actually make sense once you frame it as a hire, not software. https://youtu.be/eQFCtVuvzSY he's got a free community with the scripts and templates too: https://www.skool.com/kvk-automates-ai anyone here actually charging $10k+ for AI builds yet?
