Saw a video this week where a guy replaced Chess.com Premium ($14/mo) AND a $500/hr chess coach by building his own AI coach with Claude Code in about 2 hours. It reviews his games like a grandmaster, learned his weaknesses on its own, and now drills him on them daily. The part that got me is the same architecture works for basically any subscription you pay for: language learning, fitness programming, trading journals, study tools. Describe what you want, let the AI build it, own it forever for free. Made me look at my own subscriptions list very differently.
