Robert Redford wisdom
I watched an old interview from 2018 today. I was struck by the wisdom in his words.
What are your thoughts on the following quote?
"Pain is part of the deal - part of the picture
And you can't shy away from it
You can't turn away from it
It's just real - just live with it, be with it
But also there's another side to that
Be with that too and then it's more balanced
If you try to deny pain, if you try to deny darkness
Then you're going down a one-way street
And it's a two-way street
