Mel's Sunday Shift week of Dec 28th
Hello today is my Sunday shift and I’m writing it on a Monday and giving myself the same instructions I give the group.
The goal of the Sunday shift is to check in once a week… and so this is the first time I don’t do it on a Sunday. And honestly? That’s such a reflection of my holiday vibes, which I’m going to classify as a win.
I had a long enough stretch off that I’m disoriented with the days of the week and fully immersed in family time and friend time and hanging with my kiddos. So yes, this time has been very nervous-system regulating, and having this space always brings forth time to reflect and helpful insights… in a gentle what systems need to be upgraded to support my vision better kinda way.
There were no typically workouts, but I did go cross-country skiing, towing a 3-year-old for 1 hours… and then continued another hour and a half. 😅 and ran around pulling toboggan... so movement still feels good.
My intention for this week is more of the same.
