Today I attended a celebration of life for someone from my graduating class who passed unexpectedly.
It was a reflective day.
She really embodied full self expression, creatively and unapologetically. I always admired that. The way she slowed down enough to create. To share.
Today felt like slowing down enough to feel.
I was thinking about how Traditional Chinese Medicine views emotions, not as good or bad, but as important. The work is not to avoid certain feelings. It is to let them move through, without getting stuck in any one.
So today, I am letting waves come and go.
Just being enough to feel what is here.
