Weekly RMRS Member Shoutouts 👔
Gentlemen, here are a few standout posts from the RMRS community this week. Big shoutout to @John Witvoet for his wedding rehearsal outfit post. Great example of dressing intentionally for a meaningful occasion — and the community clearly appreciated it with strong engagement. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/wedding-rehearsal Shoutout to @Chad Smith for another strong OOTD breakdown. The blue suit, clean white shirt, and tie focus made this a helpful example of how small details can make an outfit pop. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/ootd-tuesday-12-may And shoutout to @Jeffrey Plotka for the new trouser day post. Tailoring, fit adjustments, and continued progress are exactly the kind of real-world style improvements we love seeing here. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/new-trouser-day Keep posting your outfits, wins, questions, and progress. These are the kinds of posts that help other men take action!

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Let's start hair...
I'll be turning 42 soon, and needing to maintain a professional appearance. I have curly hair (like coily curly), and in college, I started learning some care and styling tricks to allow some length for curls without simply a frizzy fro. I could use some help in two areas: (1) What are some professional hairstyles that are a little bit longer, to leverage the curls, but are also fitting for my age? (2) What are some care and styling tips for someone with really curly hair?
Handing out scholarships
Local school has graduation today and I thought I should put a little effort into my attire for the day, since i was handing out scholarships. I was running late and my wife made me change shirts, this was the final outcome Stetson silver belly work hat with black rope hat band. Brown Tony Lama boots Garmin instinct tactical 2.0 watch Not pictured was my Origin Jean jacket I wore when the temp started dropping this evening.

Stripes
Wore a brown belt today as recommended. Wearing a black merino wool t-shirt under the dress shirt for warmth Fit is a bit baggy on purpose to allow higher range of motion while playing the violin, at least while recommended by Proper Cloth Collar is a bit tight at the front of the neck but will try neck forward adjustment for next made to measure
