OOTD 2026-03-27: Livin' In Linen...
This outbreak of warm weather calls for an all-linen outfit this evening. The focal point is likely my made-to-measure, intentionally breaking all the rules shirt from Proper Cloth. It's made with pink, Baird McNutt Irish linen. It has a camp collar - which is never intended to be buttoned. It has french cuffs. And I'm wearing it under a linen sportscoat. It's very, very much "me"... And, now that I think about it, this sportscoat might actually be a blazer. The two-tone fabric plays a little fast-and-loose with the rules but it is a herringbone stripe and has contrasting, Mother-of-Pearl buttons. Yeah, I think I am officially going with calling this a linen blazer. Ahead, this is my look for this warm evening. And, yes, I noticed the collar issue. It happens when I reach over my head for something, like a hat box on the top shelf of the closet. I'll be hanging the jacket - from a proper hanger - in the back of the truck while driving, so I'll be sure to double-check the shirt collar with each donning. Finishing out the blue and white theme are most of my accessories, which are all R2D2 (Star Wars) themed: cufflinks, lapel pin, and rings...
