One of my biggest and most pleasurable experiences has been when I started going back to writing with pens and notebooks. The purchase of a nice notebook, journal, and a fountain pen has totally changed everything. A survey of professionals have shown that 70 percent associated handwritten notes with higher confidence and trustworthiness. Writing by hand slows you down; it signals that you are engaged not rushing through the interaction. People who carry a proper pen seem to interrupt less, they listen, jot, and process, this signals habit and reshapes how others experience you. A good pen does not need to be expensive; just feel right in your hand, and consistent in your daily routine. We attended a good friend’s wedding yesterday at a beautiful venue, and it was a fantastic day spent with family and friends. My son was unofficially recognized as the best-dressed man in attendance 🤣. The best part is that he picked out almost his entire outfit himself with very little input from me.
