3/29 Palm Sunday Followed by Guitar Concert and Birthday Dinner
This Sunday was Palm Sunday and at St. John the alter was dressed in red. My plan had been to where this red patterned sport coatand high waisted grey trousers but yesterday had obtained some new shirts including this dark red Winchester shirt. So I put it with the jacket and decided they would together so that became the shirt in my ensemble. From there I started looking at ties. I selected several but I wore the striped off white tie at Robin’s request.. For shoes I choose my burgundy double monks worn with a pair of red and grey argyle socks. The new shirts including has French cuffs so the these gold cuff links wore chosen. Finally I wore the Silverbelly fedora with the red band and trim. We only went to first service today as Robin had the Member’s Ensemble Concert of The Columbus Guitar Society so Robin did not play in the Praise Band at Second Service. Went. Home after service and ate lunch, picked up Robin’s mandolin and a classical guitar and drove over to Capital University. While we were home I also swapped the neck tie for a grey bow tie with a burgundy stripe. After the concert, I took Robin to Wild Ginger so she could have sushi for an early birthday celebration. Robin’s birthday is Wednesday.
