Today is usually the day I spend in the office, however with my wife out of town with work and my eldest having a Pupil Free day at school, it means I am WFH. As with the other day when my youngest shoes my outfit, today’s outfit is chosen by my eldest. She chose everything down to the watch, I again selected the Cap and Overcoat. You can see a little difference in thier styles, Poppy (12) has a more restrained style compared to Jade (almost 9). Both do have a good grasp on colour complimenting and coordination. A good thing about letting them chose and build an outfit, besides learning about colour, is that I get to wear peices I dont usually choose, the Pocket Sqaure in this outfit is one I like but I keep deferring back to the woolen squares I have. With Jade it was the Yiume shirt as a piece of business wear. It is Wednesday, my wife will be out of town for the next 2 days, so I am a single working dad for now. I have had to crack the whip a little recently with both my daughters. My eldest was relying on her mum to case the buses when she left for work. This was making her late to work, so I have put new rules in place the Teethm hair and any other needs before bed are done at 1945 and both girls are in their beds by 2000. If they are not ion bed on time, the next night is 30 mins earlier. We haven’t got to there just yet, though it was close last night. Poppy is then woken at 0600 and is to have her breakfast, Lunch made and bag packed by 0700, I have allowed hair and teeth to be done by 0710 as we walk out the door at 0715 to catch the bus up the road by 0725. Again if this is not done on time she will be woken up 30 mins earlier. As for my youngest, she is not allowed to have any screen time for anything untill she has packed her bag, had her breakfast and be completely ready to walk out the door at 0815, and 0800 on a Friday (I mean I am not punishing myself by going without a coffee) She goes to bed at the same time with the same rules but doesnt have to get up untill 0700. Today was another cold start with the sun playing peek-a-Boo from behind the thick grey clouds. I chose to wear my Fedora today for something different. The suit is Brown but comes accross grey inthe photos, I think this is due to the weave which has a light coloured stitch though the brown.
