April 7th LIVE Call: Member Spotlight Night!
This Tuesday, April 7th at 5PM Central US, we're doing something a little different — and way more fun. Instead of bringing in another outside expert… we're putting the spotlight on our own members. 🎉 Three guys from right inside this community are stepping up to share their real experiences — and honestly? These are always our best sessions. No scripts. No slides. Just real talk from real people who've been on the same journey as you. Meet Your Guest Speakers: - Style: @Brian McGuire - Fragrance: @Renato Carotti - Watches: @Jeffrey Plotka They'll be sharing how they got started, what they've learned along the way, what's worked, what most guys still get wrong - and everything in between. If you've ever wanted to hear from guys who are actually living this stuff (not just teaching it), this is the one to show up for. Come hang, ask questions, and be part of the conversation. 👊 Join the call here: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/calendar?eid=b1d757fbc6e94497b1666581e4c21bc6 See you there! 🙌
April 7th LIVE Call: Member Spotlight Night!
A Purpose Driven Life
Good morning gentlemen, There was a time in my life that I thought that in order to succeed I had to just get lucky, or maybe get in the right circle. And yes, some have succeeded by doing these things, yet most of those who did eventually failed at one point or another. Why? Because most lacked discipline and they never learned or understood basic principles. I’ve failed at so many things in the early part of life, because of lack of discipline and part of this was not listening to people like my parents and grandparents who tried to impart these things. Yes, I am better now but lost at the cost, look at the time lost, and the pain that came at that cost. A man who truly wants to succeed, must cut these five things out from his daily routine if he doesn’t, they won’t just slow him down, they’ll destroy him silently. Here are five things that a gentleman needs to cut from his daily routine in order to succeed. 1. Cut off procrastination every I’ll do it later, eventually turns into I wish I had started earlier. What you delayed today becomes the enemy that defeats you tomorrow 2. Cut off the negative mindset, it is a quiet killer. If you already believe you’ll fail you, don’t even need an enemy and you become your own 3. Cut off laziness, good intentions don’t pay bills; dreams without effort dying; in silence while you sleep on your potential, someone else is awake and grinding 4. Cut off your vices, addiction is slow suicide; if you don’t control your habits, your habits will end up controlling your life 5. Cut off complacency; comfort is dangerous, comfort is where potential goes to die. The moment you stop growing you’ve already started declining. Here is the reality, most men never learn; a discipline man is not controlled by pleasure, he is driven by purpose.

Made a ton of progress on items that felt like they were getting clogged up. The new head of sales starts Monday and I am super pumped to get him going. Last pic is my double monks getting some needed love. I think my wholecuts for today may require the same. Today's outfit is summarized by none other than the best Enterprise captain: Captain Jean Luc Picard (not quite as good as the pirate voice) Captain’s Log — RMRS Outfit Entry • Shirt — DS‑044 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A white non‑iron poplin French‑cuff dress shirt with a semi‑spread collar, precise structure, and disciplined restraint. It serves as the neutral command layer—clear, deliberate, and wholly appropriate for moments requiring both diplomacy and resolve. • Undershirt — US‑003 (Pro Club): A dense white cotton crew undershirt, substantial enough to maintain opacity beneath strong lighting. It performs its duty without drawing attention—exactly as Starfleet engineering intends. • Slacks — SL‑011 (Peter Millar): Dark‑blue wool slacks with a subtle box texture, tailored for balance and mobility. They provide continuity with the jacket, forming a unified system rather than a collection of parts. • Suit Jacket — SJ‑002 (Peter Millar): A matching navy suit jacket with fine blue patterning, structured shoulders, and full lining. It projects command presence without excess—authority conveyed through clarity, not volume. • Tie — NT‑031 (Kirby Allison): A navy basket‑weave silk tie with white and black accents, restrained yet intellectually textured. Tied cleanly, it signals intent, discipline, and respect for established protocol. • Belt — B‑001 (Hanks): A black fully lined leather belt with a silver buckle, minimal and structurally sound. It exists to support the system, not to announce itself. • Footwear — DSh‑009 (TLB Mallorca): Black box‑calf whole‑cut Oxfords, Goodyear‑welted with an elegant almond toe. These shoes speak softly—but they speak of preparation, tradition, and seriousness of purpose.

Travel by train - tips please
I frequently travel by train (day trips mostly). Help me here. How would you dress the best for such a trip. Typically, you would be seated for 4 hours and catch a nap for may be an hour. And the seating is akin to an economy seating on a decent flight.
