Anyone else into vintage footwear? I scored a pair of O'Sullivan USA made late 50's or early 60's black wingtips. I believe these are completely original, other than having a little black shoe polish used on them occasionally. All I did to them was Bic 4 leather conditioner, and a little bit of neutral cream polish. The interior of the shoe is nearly mint, even down to the original boot and shoe workers union stamp, and all of the original part numbers and sizing. Since the original O'Sullivan heel stack is still on there, Im going to assume they've never been resoled either. Even the sole leather is still in excellent condition. Even though I will be selling them, because they aren't my size. I enjoy cleaning them up, and bringing new life into shoes. Especially ones that are over 50 years old. If there were ever a picture that needs to be used to represent the old saying "They don't make them like they used to".....this is definitely it.
