Mustard Bowler full of memories
My hat predates wearing my kilt. It is a constant reminder in my office of the shenanigans Tim and I have been involved with together for over two decades. My buddy Tim is facing the biggest challenge of his life. His chronic lukemia has shifted into full blown accrute lymphoma and he is receiving chemo while simultaneously battling a serious infection in his lower leg now the size of a small tree trunk (the sepsis is gone but leg is still a problem.) My wife calls Tim my band wife. After 21 years of Timmy OāBrianās Celtic Cheer we āshare joint custodyā of our two 26 year old sons who have been in the band now for over 10 years. The boys were like brothers on our various family vacations. I sent a message out to the rest of the band for prayers for Timmy and if you are so inclined I would appreciate any one else to do the same. Timmy is an anomoly. His photographic memory makes him quite formidable as the public defender. While he has tipped the scales in the 400lb range for quite some time he was quite the athlete in his prime receiving a football scholarship to the Univ of Central Oklahoma and an offer for a scholarship to play basketball at Dartmouth. ( I harassed him for choosing UCO but respect the fact the stadium is named after his great grandfather and he wanted to play there his whole life). He is a super nerd/jock and knows every comic book character since the dawn of comic books as well as every horror movie character even every cowboy character in every tv western and movie. Simultaneously he can spout endless sports trivia. And donāt get me started with everything historic especially regarding Celtic stuff. get well soon buddy I love you pal.
