Wife and I and puppers out for dinner , ran into my cousin and her Hisband whom was the cousin that originally wanted to hook me and wife up together … gods plan yet again Ok y’all remeber what I told y’all this morning , ok well my wife has the gift of intuition , well God gave her the knowledge Not to talk to me for a few hours , literally on way to dinner she asked me were u gonna call me and yell at me …. I didn’t say anything at first cause what do you say to that? So I exclaimed to her how my morning went and that God had me cool my jets and so I didn’t call her, she called me first but not till after she did a bunch of praying today…. So God protected us from having a huge fight!! Today could have went so much worse in a different direction…. Also this morning I got to see my cousin whom also drives semi and is the big brother to my cousin whom I just saw while waiting to eat. Like God has had his hand on this entire day , im literally almost out of words

I wanted to just take the time to encourage those here that may feel stuck! While this is a picture of me (before/After) I didn't feel it belonged in the "Wins & Gratitude" section because I would rather this empower others. I have always believed that age is just a number, and you get to decide how you age and what kind of attitude you have. We all have our own journey but I'm here to say that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to!! I am a late teen cancer survivor, I was given less than 5% change of living and I'm here almost 40yrs later. I walked around for 3 days with a ruptured appendix and was told I wouldn't leave the hospital. I've had numerous surgeries, that have affected my body and posture and has lead to a serious back issue. I decided in an effort to try to stop a 3 level spine fusion that I would work with my doctor, chiropractor and Pilates instructor to see if I could change my posture "just enough" to increase the space in my lower back. As you know I commissioned a bespoke Blue Blazer as a gift to myself. My Tailor sent me this picture the other day with the caption "Who's this guy?" The picture the right is me in mid June for my first consult for the blazer. The picture on the left is me last week! There's only about 8-10lbs difference in weight. The real difference is my posture! How pilates has helped so far and how it even changed the distribution of my weight. I'm not telling this story for sympathy, I'm telling this story to hopefully inspire others to know that YOU can do it too! Life is what you make of it!! Make it great!! I have a wonderful wife and children that I was NEVER supposed to have and if I listed to the doctors at 19 I wouldn't have them nor this wonderful group of men here lifting each other up!
