Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Hat Etiquette-Is it an Old-Fashioned Custom?
Thanks to Martin for inspiring me to pose this question. The question of whether to wear a hat indoors is a common etiquette query that touches on both tradition and modern sensibilities. Traditionally, it is considered proper for men to remove their hats when they go inside. For women, the historical etiquette has been more lenient, as their hats were often seen as part of their attire. However, this typically applies to fashion hats. But, since this RMRS, not RWRS, we'll stick to men. Many people today view hat etiquette as an outdated tradition and believe individuals should have the freedom to wear what they want. However, many others still see it as a sign of respect. Ultimately, deciding whether to follow these customs is a personal choice, but being aware of them can help you navigate different social situations with greater confidence. What say you?

Support Means Listening
Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is listen without fixing, judging, or interrupting. Being heard is powerful.

Finally a bit colder this morning and even a spot of rain before sunrise. We love getting rain at this time of year as a bulwark to fires in the Los Angeles area. A basic workday outfit but with a sportscoat vs. a traditional suit jacket today. Today's outfit includes: Shirt: Brisk Winchester twill in mid blue with a two complication collar: pin collar and a club collar Slacks: Peter Millar wool slacks in Italian blue Jacket/SC: Ralph Lauren camel hair single-breaster SC with notch lapels Pocket Square: Fort Belvedere brown & blue paisley silk square Tie: Kirby Allison Ancient Madder silk tie in rust, with navy and deep green shapes Belt: Nordstrom dark brown leather belt with silver buckle Shoes: Thursday Boots double monk-straps in cinnamon brown Socks: Il Regalo navy with mid-blue shadow stripe, wool & silk, over the calf dress socks (I'm really starting to love these especially for half the price of the same dress socks from other brands I use) Cufflinks: Unknown maker, blue multiangle reflective blue squares atop a silver base Collar bar: Fort Belvedere silver plated collar pin with cubic ends (this is their largest collar bar, which I thought would be way too small - for the Brisk pin collar shirts, it is the perfect size and nicer than the free collar bar with comes with the Brisk shirt) Watch: Fossil Neutra Quarts with a cream color face and darker brown leather strap
