Has anyone ever made snap judgments about you based on your appearance? How did it feel? How will you prevent others from misjudging you in the future? People have made snap judgements about me based on my outfits that I wear outside of work. It didn't feel good, as I looked less confident. I will prevent people from misjudging me in the future by wearing interchangeable outfits that fit, are functional and good quality fabric.

This is the kind of outfit that doesn’t raise its voice—it simply gets listened to. The light blue gingham jacket and tan trousers say “approachable professional,” while the polished brown shoes and that gold-toned watch quietly add, “but I still close deals.” And the socks? Just enough personality to remind everyone you’ve got a sense of humor beneath all that composure.

So I came upon this coat and trousers ensemble today and was especially intrigued by the weight of the trousers. They are somewhat high waisted and heavy, and will need to be altered. Surprisingly, the three-roll-two jacket fit perfectly. The label inside the jacket says Mister Guy, which advertises itself as a fine men’s clothing store in St. Louis. I really don’t know how to describe the wool cloth or the pattern, but I cannot wait until next fall to put together an English/country outfit in the spirit of @Brian McGuire. Oh, and forgive the polo shirt…I was trying to hurry and get photos. Coat and trousers like new…$18.00. So, as I study the pics, I probably needed to stand up straighter. It would make the shoulders fit better and shorten the sleeves. It was a long day! 🥴
