This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Raceday Footage
Here's a short clip of a race that I watched yesterday. It's known as the Sydney Cup a qualifying race for the prestigious Melbourne Cup. Amazingly this race was one of 4 Group 1 races that I had the privilege of watching yesterday.

Quit late in the day, but that's the air of a relaxing family. I let the AI app write up the rest... and it loved to be flowery... and is a fan of Fort Belvedere it appears! "Saturday Blues: Family, Friends & Fort Belvedere Corduroys" Sometimes the best outfits aren't about making a statement—they're about being present. Today was one of those magical Saturdays: family time, catching up with friends, and the crack of the bat at the ballpark. The dress code? Comfortable, confident, and casually put-together. When you look good without trying too hard, you can focus on what really matters—the people around you. • Shirt — HS-009 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A Charles Tyrwhitt hybrid shirt in ocean blue linen with a subtle bird's eye pattern. This slim-fit piece from Bangladesh bridges the gap between dress shirt and casual—soft point collar, barrel cuffs with mitered edges, no pocket, and that gorgeous natural linen texture. The medium opacity breathes beautifully on a mild spring day, and that 2.4" collar height keeps things relaxed without looking sloppy. Perfect for a day that might involve cheering, eating ballpark food, and spontaneous photo ops with family. • Undershirt — US-007 (Pro Club): A heavy-weight chocolate Pro Club crew neck that anchors the warm brown tones of the lower half. With the ocean blue shirt, this darker undershirt prevents any show-through while adding that substantial feel I've come to expect from Pro Club. • Pants — PN-012 (Fort Belvedere): The stars of today's show—Fort Belvedere Stancliffe corduroys in dark chocolate brown, gifted by my wife for Christmas '25. These Portuguese-made beauties feature a hefty 705g/sq.mtr. cotton construction that drapes like a dream. High rise, classic fit, hook & clasp closure with that signature five-pocket layout including a ticket pocket. The cuffs add a touch of elegance to what's already a premium casual trouser. • Belt — B-011 (Hanks): The Esquire Raised in Havana brown leather with white edge stitching—American-made quality that feels like it'll last forever. The silver buckle (removable!) adds a subtle flash against the warm browns, and the pill-shaped holes give it a refined touch. This belt has been in heavy rotation lately because it just works with everything brown-adjacent.

“It’s Okay, I Got This”
Good morning gentlemen, I can recall there was a period in my young adult age where I thought I had it all figured out, and if I didn’t I was smart enough to figure it out on my own. One thing that I have come to the knowledge is that a person think they know it all is not only dangerous but unstable. Especially when they feel they don’t need to learn and grow. And learning is not just in education, but in life as well. But here is the reality that can be harder to swallow and digest for a person in this mindset. What you think you know it is not letting you grow? I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you are surrounded by all the information you need to get what you’re trying to go. You’re surrounded by all the information you need to get what you’re trying to go but your blind; but instead of getting information, on what you think you already know, got you looking for confirmation. What you think you already know is just getting in your way. This has you ignoring all the right information. Sometimes you have to just be quiet. Stop listening to comments, stop listening to give your responses, just listen and will become teachable again again. Stop using the same old knowledge, same old beliefs, trying to get different results. Stop thinking you know; nobody knows everything, you have gotten as far as you gonna go on what you think you already know. Especially those of us who have been around for awhile. We used to know everything and it worked for a while, and what we used to win with is not working no more. It is a new day, new time, everything changed so fast, you have to stop and listen. That’s the only way you going to survive these times that are changing, just be quiet and listen. One of our greatest attributes as gentlemen is the knowledge that we do not know everything, and the wisdom and ability to want to learn and grow.
