What do you need from me?
Team,
As we enter approach another school year where public, private, and alternative schools are screaming out for support - particularly in physiology-based education, resilience, and capacity building programs - we have an opportunity to reach a generation of students with critical tools at a critical time.
I'll be making a major push to drive practitioners in all aligned fields to our programs. We have the opportunity to create a category, build an industry, and impact the future of health at large.
I'm making some shifts in the framework of how we talk about this program (removing the language of "certification" as it tends to attract people more interested in "completion" rather than lifelong learning and evolution) - and talking specifically about bringing together the world's best educators and practitioners to build a new approach to educating and empowering kids, families, and communities.
My aim is to attract only those educators and practitioners who aim for personal excellence - and who are committed to building programs so good - so undeniably better than the alternative - that they disrupt the status quo by simply being too good to ignore.
If you can communicate like a pro, hold training experiences that bring the science to life in a way that inspires, empowers, and puts a smile on every attendees face, and assess the simplest metrics of physiology (starting with free/no-tech and evolving from there) you are embodying the Physiology First Approach and bringing the evolution of health to life.
Let me know what resources you need from me in order to be successful and I will be sure to add them to the platform.
I'm going to be largely offline this coming week as I'm spending some time with my partner on a short holiday to Lisbon.
Once she flies back to Manchester I'll be staying in Portugal for a bit to work specifically on further developing the platform and our practitioner offerings. I'll share some things that you can expect beginning on June 1st and ask you to let me know of any additional resources that you need so I can be sure to get them to you as we get ready to accelerate all efforts to reach as many students and families as possible this year!
What to Expect From June 1st:
A Case Study using Dr. Swati - This is a perfect opportunity to show how the principles of our program can be applied to any domain. has 500 students who can benefit from her knowledge. We are going to cover implementation in each of our 3 pillars: Education, Experience, and Assessment and showcase the power and versatility of the program. Through a combination of speaking events, experiences, and simple assessment we are going to walk through a step-be-step approach to brining Physiology First to life in this particular and unique setting. Keep in mind that every setting is a unique setting - this is why we have now built a standardized approach to implementation. This is not only by design - it is critical to respecting the physiology of each person and to preventing exactly what we are standing up against. One size fits all approaches to the most unique, complex, and individual system on the planet - the human nervous system.
Case Studies from Students and Parents: As mentioned I'm going to keep the case study series on IG and Substack going with tons of opportunity for in-depth breakdowns, interaction, and brainstorming for each scenario you may run into and those we can expect to see in the near future as V.R, A.R, and AI systems integrate with and impact the human nervous system. These will post on IG and Substack once per week with an in-depth, professionally recorded (for ease of watchability) breakdown at week's end.
Email and DM scripts for cold outreach, warm outreach, and re-engagement with previous contacts
A "Tools" section with each of our apps, including the Breathe to Perform app, Physiology First Assessment app, and a new Physiology First 5 app that can help you bring personalized protocols to each client that you work with now and in the future.
Our new professional development structure mentioned earlier in the week in which you would have a "done for you" professional development framework complete with online course licensing opportunities for hundreds of employees and students.
Finally we have a small mountain of beautifully captured content from our Manchester campus featuring the incredible Coach Amy
Please use this week to reflect on what additional resources would be helpful and I'll make sure that you have them as we head into a summer of sharpening the axes before making our biggest impact yet this school year.
Wishing everyone an inspired start to the week and very much looking forward to your thoughts, insights, and ideas.
David
