Check-in
Hi everyone! 👋 Just a quick note to say that I won’t be joining tonight’s call and probably won’t be very active this week. I’m on vacation with my family and taking the opportunity to slow down, reflect, recover, and recharge. I’m also listening to Man’s Search for Meaning, which feels like the perfect book for this season. Looking forward to catching up with everything next week. Have a great week everyone! 🙏
Action removes doubt
Just wanted to share a small win from taking action. A few days ago this was just an idea. Since then I’ve: - Started a local Facebook community. - Created a short survey to listen to parents and my local community. - Shared it in local Facebook groups. - Started getting responses and conversations. - Even had a local politician reach out and ask to meet to discuss how we can support young people in our community. Nothing is “built” yet, but it’s a great reminder that action creates opportunities that planning alone never will. Thanks David for the push. Looking forward to seeing where this journey leads. 🙏
Foundations of Breathing
I've been really focusing on nasal breathing for the past couple of weeks. What I've loved most is feeling fully present and connected to my body as I feel my breath moving through it. Whether I'm out for a walk with my baby and toddler, working at my desk, or actually working out, I feel much more in tune with my senses and my body's movements, which brings me to the present moment. Essentially as I've become more aware of my breathing, I've also been able to focus more intently on what I'm doing and the people I'm with.

Totally agree - nasal breathing is the way to go🙏🏻 Have you tried taping your mouth at night for ensuring nasal breathing during sleep?

As you say David - if you have a good breathing pattern at day you will probably have it at night. In the beginning of my journey with nasal breathing mouth taping was a game changer in all kinds of ways!
Local community group
Hi everyone! 👋 I’ve just taken action and created a local Facebook for my community. The goal isn’t to promote my business, but to build a local ecosystem around youth wellbeing and help young people better understand how their body, brain and nervous system work. I’d love to hear from those of you who have already built local communities. - How did you get your first members? - What worked best in the beginning? - Is there anything you wish you had done differently? Any advice or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙏
