🤍 The power of mutual respect
Hi community, my name is Angely, I am the 6th scheduler from The Closing Signing Service A few days ago, one of our trusted VIP mobile notaries drove out to a signing that, unfortunately, did not close. Knowing how much effort, gas, and preparation goes into every single appointment, our team didn't wait for her to ask for compensation. We proactively paid her for her time and effort anyway. Shortly after, she sent us a deeply personal message that truly touched our hearts: "Thank you so much for putting yourselves in my shoes and genuinely valuing my effort. It means the world to work with a team that actually understands what we go through on the road." This feedback reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Our mission isn't just to close files; it’s to build a fair, supportive, and respectful environment for the professionals who make our business possible. To all the hard-working notaries out there: your time is valuable, your mileage is real, and your dedication does not go unnoticed. Let’s keep raising the bar for how we support one another! 🤝

What's one habit that made you a better signing agent?
It doesn't have to be something big. Maybe you started: ✅ Reviewing the package before leaving home. ✅ Confirming IDs during your reminder call. ✅ Double-checking every notarization before leaving the table. ✅ Leaving extra time between appointments. ✅ Reading the instructions before printing. Sometimes the smallest habits make the biggest difference in reducing mistakes and creating a smoother signing experience. 💬 What's one habit you've developed that has improved your signings? Share it below, you might help another notary improve theirs too.
🖊️ Blue ink is common... but it's not always the rule.
Recently, we received a file that specifically instructed the borrower to sign all documents in black ink. If the notary had relied on habit instead of the instructions, the entire package could have required corrections. One of the easiest mistakes to make in this business is assuming that today's signing will be the same as yesterday's. Every file deserves a quick review of the instructions before the appointment. That one minute can save hours of follow-up later. 💬 What's the most unusual instruction you've ever received in a signing package?

A QC observation...
Hi everyone! It's Valeria again. 😊 One of the things I notice almost every day while reviewing scanbacks is that signers sometimes don't sign using their regular signature. Instead, they'll print their name or sign in a way that doesn't resemble the signature on their ID. As a general rule, signers should sign using their legal signature, the one they normally use and that matches their identification. Of course, there are exceptions, and some title companies may have specific instructions. If something doesn't seem right or you're unsure, it's always best to check on the instructions or reach out to the hiring company before completing the signing.
