Anyone else using this for training workouts? Got myself onto it and finding it really good.
Back at my happy place
Filey with the boys 💜💜 Instant feeling of calmness and peace when I'm near the sea. It's so healing 🫶 Brought all my meals to keep on top of food plan too. Got my new book for the evenings when my little loves are sleeping 😴 📖

1 week in
1 week since I pressed that help button. Seems like a lifetime has passed in that week. Meds have been increased, and sleeping tablets introduced which have kept me level throughout the day. Crazy how much sleep has to answer for. Fell asleep with J last night and woke up at 11pm which was too late to take them, ended up being up most of the night and has impacted mood today. Took myself for a nap and focussed on my job this afternoon. MH team still visiting and appreciate them doing so. Small wins in the last week; - Getting back on here - Back walking the dog and getting those steps in - Been to the gym twice (not managed a full routine as anxiety took over, but I showed up) - Back making nutrition a priority, although not fully at the point of macro counting. - Created a training plan for the Sheffield 10k with the help of ChatGPT - Got referred for ADHD Sunshine and time with kids is helping.

New challenge
So, my probably-ADHD brain has talked me into another challenge with my work colleagues. Nothing quite as mad as cycling from London to Amsterdam this time, but we've committed to collectively walking, running and cycling 1,000km between 7 August and 7 September to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity once again. The distance will be shared across the team, so it's definitely a challenge, but one that feels achievable. The thing is, just setting this up has already lifted my mood. I've realised I'm someone who always needs a challenge, something to focus on, and something to look forward to. Without that, I can end up feeling a bit lost. So, alongside raising money for an incredible cause, I'm hoping this gives me that little bit of purpose and momentum to carry me through each day over the next month. Wish us luck. 💜
Can't see it
Can't see where I'm going or how I'm going to get a handle on it.... Yet I think 'yet' is the main point. Just because I can't do something right now doesn't mean I won't get there or won't be able to do it in the future. MH team have been in on Friday and today, and plan to see me for the next two weeks which is great and really reassuring. Got to get a balance on my meds that might be increasing, which although I'm not keen on, I think it's necessary. I'm doing my walks with the dog as I said I was going to do. Didn't make the gym today, but ate really clean and was productive elsewhere. Tomorrow is a day out with the kids at the butterfly house, MH team visit and I do want to fit in the gym somewhere. Desperate for some endorphins. Photo: went to see The Odyssey, felt pretty, took a selfie 🤳
